Now look at Jim rempes snooker record as I believe he's the only American born player to play on the Pro circuit of snooker, 120 I believe his top rank was. Ok, let's get something straight here, no one uses the word "boing" to describe a damp table here in the US. We use "action" or "dead", "bounce" or "thud". "Boing" describes the reaction of a spring, and that would mean the cushions -- or rails -- have good action. Otherwise they are dead, slow or poor.

Varner's errors in the second set have me stunned. Yes the first error might have been a miscue, but two miscues in a row? It seems to say Varner's cuing off the rail with high ball cuing is deficient

How can one be proud of being a pool player, seriously how??
Bigger balls, broader cues and very big pockets, smaller table.

@Hassan Ahmad is that the reason your greatest snooker player, Ronnie osullivan got his ass handed to him when he tried to participate in a major pool tournament. Do a search on UA-cam, the ipt 8 ball tournament. U will see what i am talking about. Einstein, in pretty much every bar got a pool table to play with. Hardly any snooker table anywhere. Don't you think if snooker tables were easily accessible, pool players could make that transition easily. Got news for you, snookers derive from 14.1 straight pool.

@@seandesir7272 as it is in every other pub, that's the reasons it is a peasantry sport.
If you want to see ball potting everyother second, follow pool.
Snooker is way more positional that pool.
And i don't talk about accuracy and precision, that will make pool players hang there head in shame.

@@seandesir7272 accept the fact, to pro pool players pool is a profession. To snooker players, pool is a joke.
Ronnie and Davis crossed the bridge and gave pool players their run for their money. Every seen a naturalised pool player make a transition?? ( don't say selby, selby was coached in snooker willie thorne and then he went to pool to make pool more miserable).
