Vice Principals: Gamby vs Russell Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the materials in the video. All rights belong to HBO Network. Please watch their contents.
My favorite part is the beginning when Russell just says "Neil Gamby, what are you doing in here?" right before he gets blasted in face by the paddle lmao
jaret19 What did you expect? It’s Gamby’s story and Russel runs away from danger unless he has a cheap shot, Gamby takes problems head on and doesn’t run, and when he says he means business, he does.
I've seen Walton around, but the first role of his I really watched was The Ghoul | Cooper Howard. So seeing this after seeing WG play a irradiated cowboy has got me wheeze-laughing. To go from "I'd offer you some of these here cherry tomatoes, but you gots a hole in your neck," (and I put it there,) to THIS. I've yet to see the show. Can someone gimme some context about why Gamby is kickin' Russell's rear?
I’d recommend just watching the show but if you want to know, Gamby is shot at the end of season 1 after he and Russell team up and successfully force the principal out of the school, becoming co-principals. A lot of season 2 centres around Gamby investigating who shot him, but he is tricked into thinking it was Russell. He goes to the school and beats him up. In actuality, it’s the woman who throws some food at Gamby as he leaves the cafeteria.
Looove this show. It's basically a comedic adaptation of Othello. I just wish directors and writers would stop squeezing in the gag where there's something loud and boisterous going on (like the fight in this scene), and they pass by someone wearing headphones while doing a mundane task , and they don't realize what's happening around them. Like are we really laughing at that gag anymore? So overused and passé at this point.
My English degree and I are both impressed and irritated I don't have a paper due so I can write on "Othello" and "Vice Principals." With some bullshit title about post colonial feminist eco criticism or some similar crap. 😅
2:58 this is like an episode of Tom and Jerry when they both go into a room and you just see a bunch of comical explosions and then you see them run out again.
McBride and Goggins are absolutely hysterical together! I hope they do more projects together down the road!
Righteous Gemstones
@@cheekyxboxgamer2427 uncle baby billy
Gemstones is great, I got my mom watching it now
Who’s Goggins?
As a teacher I love how they fight with everything just randomly available in a school. I can't believe this show wasn't bigger than it was.
I just watched it and feel in love! Danny McBride should have hundreds of shows by now!
People don't respect how physical being a comedic actor is. These are not young guys and they really sold it
My favorite part is the beginning when Russell just says "Neil Gamby, what are you doing in here?" right before he gets blasted in face by the paddle lmao
Cinematography is so underated on this show
McBride choreographed the whole thing in a few hours. He's on his way to being a full blown comedy legend. Remember this comment in 20 years
In all of his shows
This isn't Gamby vs Russell, this is Gamby Kicking The Everloving Shit Out Of Russell.
Good God...
Walt goggins is a master. This dude is special.
this scene is incredibly cathartic. i love the little visual reminders of how cruel russell was to the teachers (the gold stars)
This fight was definitely one-sided. I haven't seen such a humiliating beating since I saw a foul-mouthed teddy bear whoop Mark Walhberg's butt.

The way this scene is shot is wonderful. I love the one takes. This show doesn't get enough credit.
Might be the best fight scene to ever appear on cable.
One of the best fights in history
1:49 nearly choked I was laughing so hard
2:11 I almost threw up from laughing so hard
Russell's scream at 1:49 had me dying
Swear to god I’ve watched this clip so many times I’ve lost count, but it never gets old
I used to chuckle at the thought of teachers fighting each other so this was great 🤣
“Look at his jeans”
This quote will hold a special place in my heart
This is tied with the They Live fight as one of the greatest filmed beatdowns of all time in my opinion.
Danny Mcbride owned Eastbound & Down, but Walton Goggins definitely owned Vice Principals.
Now, Edi Patterson owns The Righteous Gemstones.
All true
Don't tussle with Lee Russell and his muscle!
This show made me love Goggins and now I watch everything he's in.
@@stephaniemartin-ward4578first thing I saw him in too
Absolutely
1:15 sweet jesus, those were some filthy backshots.
Was this necessary?
That flying tackle was epic lol
Absolutely devastated they’re not bringing this show back
Bring back how? The storyline was conclusive. Better than the show getting cancelled like many other shows.
It was conceived, pitched, and produced as a two season show. The creators didn't want to go beyond.
How on earth am I only finding out about this show this wk????? Insane how good it is!!!
Eastbound and Down and Vice Principals will forever be the best.
Top best fights ever!!! 👏 This was such an underrated show. TG for Righteous Gemstones
0:03 realized this is the music where Gamby gets shot…
And it plays in the same spot
In 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!
@@juniorpolktheplotagonmovie4833 Good day, tigers. And what a wonderful day it is to be a tiger.
I love the oblivious security guard at 2:02. :)
😆😅😂🤣 It IS so funny. I love that!!! My favorite actor Walton Goggins IS so good and very funny!!!
After 6 seasons of Boyd Crowder watching Walt literally start shrieking was so good
God damn Gamby your timing SUCKS
Dude this scene made me literally cry laughing
The lunchman going ''Oh, you gon' throw shit at me?'' and then missing Russell is an underrated part of the whole thing
The most epic school fight scene period...!!! Name another???
3 O'clock High was pretty good.
2:22
Frank Anderson that shot was dope
That was my favorite part lol
Nothing like watching grown men fighting each other on a childish manner 😂😂😂😂
😮 this is on the same level as "They Live" epic fight scene.
Lee is fucking crazy as shit!
This might be better than ‘they live’
gamby would have made piper put on the glasses no problem
2:52 Gamby Punch Russell In The Face Hard

Vice Principals was the original Succession
The fight should’ve been more even, goggins was awesome in this show
2:17 Jack Sparrow run lmao

So unrealistic. No one even shouted WORLDSTARRRR !!
You don’t tussel with Lee Russel
yup
what season is this?
2!
Context behind the scene?
Gamby thought Russel shot him
Boring, this happened every day in the LAUSD!
The chemistry between these 2
