I think it would have been more interesting if they hadn't discarded the scene of the mothership, it is also curious that they have changed some of the skins that appear in the full cinematic
I was thinking that the unfinished version of the live event would have been a boss fight consisting of couple of phases,with each of the cinematic shown to be a transitional one.
Thats what Im thinking as well, that it would mimic the ch2 finale in the way of us helpessly shooting at the herald as she continued to advance on the loopers. Perhaps we would've gotten some messages from paradigm, AMIE or jones about the next part of the plan. Sadly it didn't happen which Imo would have made the event a tad better.
Maybe there would be chrome wolves attacking us, some mini chrome tornadoes we would have to shoot down,Chrome people coming out of tornadoes, occasionally we would have to go under the reality tree, and the herald bossfight.

The alien ship part just said that the season seven live event was a waste. Even if the tiny mothership took the zero point during that time, it would have blown up anyway.
The lore reason seems to be… back during the chapter 2 end event the cube queen makes a rift directly to the last reality’s home world and the ship that traveled to the island a season before was there to send the cube queen to the island to make a rift to start the invasion. It probably takes a long time to travel across endless space so for another ship to be at the island in such a short time would be unrealistic. Also the chrome and herald got there because of the ability to multiply chrome and a fast rate means all it take is a drop for it to spread. I think there must have been chrome on the mothership from season 7 and when it crashed it was free. But the last reality must not have noticed the chrome but when they did the multiplied it and the herald was able to teleport to the island and you know the rest of the story. There. Any questions?

Then out of Epic's desperation, we return to Chapter 1 and another lame live event which is just short version of the Season X event before turning into one big ad to promote modes that no one would play and to reset the timeline because the old storyline writer retired and they want a new continuity for the new storyline writer so those arcs won't be resolved anytime soon or ever. At least Chapter 4 Season 3 returned Slone.

They should’ve made the actual event like how they did in c2 s6 where it was the season after. Then we’d have a finale event and then an event for explaining how the chapter 4 map formed
This event was a HUGE disappointment, it had so much potential like defending the tree would have been cool if we could actually play and shoot some chrome monsters or something and have the herald as a final boss to defeat together, but instead they put the good stuff in a cutscene and made a boring egg hunt for some weird orbs or something also what about the bytes character ? he was pretty interesting as he had crhome powers and you had special quests to complete if you played as his skin and those quests told more about his story and could have played a cool part in the live event or story but instead epic games forgot about him .
I miss this island, i played fortnite a lot in c2 starting seasons but this chapter was my favorite, an amazing map, made a friend here i played with so much

Though I think Herald's place was to chrome and eliminate all threats so the Last Reality could take over. But then the Paradigm probably activated Loop Breaker. Causing the Zero Point to explode, wiping away all the Chrome but destroying reality zero in the process. Leaving the Zero Point in it's most vulnerable state
the mothership scene is just a bit silly imo, it's so random that after being gone for about a year, the mothership would just come back for like 10 seconds to try and then fail to abduct the zero point, it seems like something a child would come up with when they try to mush all of the cool things into one
Ohh I get the event now. So the chrome took over the island and the Zero Point self destructed the island as a defense mechanism. Makes sense, the fact that it singlehandedly destroyed the mothership further proves this.

The group keep fighting until the zero point come out of the ground. The Harold turn around and see the zero point and try to use Crome against it. The zero point start to take out the chrome. And the portal keep get bigger and go up in the sky. The seven tell everyone about the portals. Foundation ask the I.O about but of course the IO don’t care about the island and the seven. Foundation go into the portal to see what actually behind the portal. He get teleported to the main Ship/ the ball ship. And run around the ship with confusion. It just empty just nothing. Foundation see another room with a portal and see what in it and find out universe but he doesn’t go through it so he back to the hallway. But he hear people talk and he run to see who it is and find the Alien being talking. Foundation make a sound and the alien hear the sound and go to the spot were the rock made the sound. But nothing was there because the rock has invisible power to his suit. And go back to hear what the alien are talking about and they are planing to take over the Fortnite island and take the zero point and the rock ( still invisible) go up against them and eliminate them and go to the next hallway and he find the room to the Fortnite universe and go through it and go back to base and plan an idea to destroy the main ship. Event start. The leader make the giant portal to go through but as soon realize that was a trap because he now trap in the Fortnite universe. He go down to the island and talk to the Fortniters and talk about his plan but next thing you know that his ship blow up and the leader get mad and send his guards against the people and scan there brain and find out that the seven blown his ship. TBC
man this event sucked, i really don’t like the cutscenes and think the player should be in control for all of it, that’s what made the old events so fun for me.
