MJ Holdings supplies pokemon, mtg, yugioh, and other products to big box stores like Walmart and Target all around the country. They aren't going to spend all the time and effort to go through and reseal packs. I wouldn't be surprised if what you got were from customer returns where people searched the packs and returned them. Still pretty crappy that those are being sold, but it's highly unlikely MJ Holdings is doing it deliberately.
@Power9Quest Hey Andy you are not crazy after watching this video I went and check the last 2 boxes of these I found here in NM. I had kept all the cards in order of each pack and thought i just had bad pulls. When I went and checked them after watching I found that there was a pack that had Evolutions common cards and Sun and Moon uncommon and rares in it. I am now going to be hunting for these and filming each opening to try and catch them red handed. You rock for bringing this to the public eye.
I just discovered your channel and all this content it's really informative and it also happens with other stuff, a good example of this are the Marvel Legends figures but beware because also Lego sets get resealed with trash pieces and the list could go on
MJ Holdings is the company that stocks all the Walmart's and Target"s in my area. This only confirms what I already suspected about them. Shady company that I do not trust at all. Good video! Thanks for exposing them.
I had a similar issue with an MJ Holdings product. The Pokemon pack was resealed with extra glue and there were too many cards in the pack. Also, the cards were in ‘played’ condition not pack fresh. I am certain that they are aware that the product has little to know value, but they are selling the dream. This product shouldn’t exist and I wish people would stop buying it, as it encourages the company to continue selling it. Huge scam.
If you didn’t buy them from Walmart directly, then yea it’s probably a scam. I definitely had a box that was resealed and got my money back. But that’s the risk we take! Definitely not a bad product but the hockey cards seems ridiculous and I can definitely understand your frustration 😅
MJ Holdings is a major business partner of your buddy Rudy @ABU (Alpha Investments).I saw you give him a shoutout in your ViP pack video. Just thought you should be aware.
having watched these opened by RealBreakingNate for years I can say that he has never come across this which makes me think someone purchased the box and then resealed it and brought it back to the store. It isnt the kind of thing that MJ Holdings would do themselves.
I don't think any company that respects itself would EVER (Read these letters: E E V E E (R) Put ANY other trading cards than POKEMON in their packs. The fact that you actually got HOCKEY CARDS is proof that they are resealed. Also never heard of someone getting a card from another set in a booster either. I'm very curious to see you open those vintage packs that you ended up getting.
They are not resealed, the ones you opened. I've open tons of packs with that seal before from booster boxes. It just how they are sealed. Ones you got were probably purchased, searched and resealed from a loser that returned the package.
If a third party had done so and returned it, why would they leave a jungle booster in any condition, in the box? They could take that (even if they resealed it) straight to EBay and unfortunately make $100 dollars.
@@Power9Quest Did the hockey cards come from the same box as the Jungle Booster? If so then, that is a mystery. If not, then clearly the Jungle Booster is more than likely legit. I think you honestly just came across a bum box that someone bought from the store, opened the packs, resealed them and then returned the box for their money back. Most places don't check these things, especially like Walmart. They just throw it back on the shelf for someone else to purchase. I've seen these boxes opened hundreds of times and seen really sick pulls from them.
Can confirm, many sets had the seals sealed too hot so they melt that way and become harder. Also they don't use glue, they just warm the plastic on the wrapper.
As for Flashfire, well, XY era (excluding newer reprints of sets like Evolutions) were sealed a bit differently so the seal does not feel the same way.
@@Power9Quest Whoever did this is a real degenerate scum bag. They'd rather open the pack and find the single hit than sell the sealed pack. Very sad but stuff like this happens with retail products all the time.
You just got a box where someone returned it to the store after opening lol the boxes are legit i pulled a vintage neo pack and it was sealed and i pulled a umbreon out of it and its now a psa 9 worth over 800$
You are the only UA-cam or of ever seen that has that problem every single other person has polled really really rare packs and they get rare cards and rare poles maybe someone actually open them before and then they return them not you thinking it’s a company I think it’s someone that might be actually buying them that’s a person and returning them resealed but with a bunch of other cheap stuff inside
Somebody probably bought these resealed and returned them.

I love hockey and all, but if this happened to me I would rage.

All the packs partially cover up the part that says the trading card game because it’s a copyright saying
ZexoFN the official one does that too 10:50
