instructing at hunter mnt in ny the past two years not only improved my riding tremendously, but I met some of the best people I know. did it for the pass and the experience. Got my level one this past season, and the bug has gotten me by the balls ever since. totally recommend it.
The feeling of riding everyday once you’ve achieved this for a winter is unrivaled. So much love for you, the boys and the process. Now come ride the east coast scraps!!! Miss you guys!!!
Facts, you nailed it with this vid. When you truly commit yourself to something and drop all of the distractions, you find yourself surrounded by like minded people and you learn so much about yourself. Not just as a ski bum but in all parts of life. The clips are great but you are connecting to so much real life stuff that makes it more than just a normal snowboard vlog. Real inspirational stuff.
worked at a resort in ny this winter and it was such a great idea. free szn pass, got to shred on my lunch breaks and the people at a resort are always dope. making my way to working at copper eventually
I worked at my local ski area right after graduating HS for a total of 6 seasons. Two of those seasons was part time while I was attending community college full time. If you want it, you can make it work. There is definitely something to be said for being on the mountain everyday-even if you only ride for an hour most of those days-the rate at which you progress is ridiculous. Do it. 110% do it. Your local mountain, or a mountain you've always wanted to ride-just do it-you probably won't regret it. And the friends you make while you're there are just as awesome and as crazy as you are.

One time in college a couple years ago I put my new $250 baseball glove on top of my car after practice and drove off. When I got home and realized I tried to retrace and find it but it was a goner. I was super bummed about it, that was like all the money I had back then, but sh!t happens! We all go through it. Luckily I still had my old glove.
Still got the old one!
