Brilliant! I would have walked right past this work in a museum, but in 3 minutes Aebi opens my eyes, and I realize this watercolor is a masterpiece. Each word opens a new layer of beauty and meaning in Céznne's luminous poem to nature.
Probably there's no line between abstraction and representation, but rather like a yin-yang phenomenon. This Cézanne piece abstracts representation, while also representing abstraction. That flow between both somehow reminds me of Escher, more fluidly so.
Recording his sensations, not illustrating a scene. This is one of the purest demonstrations of that truly radical approach he ever achieved.
her use of language to describe this piece is exquisite. what a beautiful piece too
I love the phrase "It taught me to..." Really great art reconditions the way we look at the rest of the world. Cezanne could do that in so many ways.

Tender and Soulful. Thank you, MOMA!🦋
I love the layered mediums
Such a beautiful and delicate piece, I love it
Excellent and insightful presentation.
Excellent, almost poetic presentation of this masterpiece and why we need to look at a great art work in the age of pandemic
I wish I had those eyes and mind to understand these paintings. I only see a cute painting that reminds me of spring I think.
Sometimes art ‘experts’ and critics talk a load of nonsense. Enjoy the painting as you have experienced it with your own eyes.
