    ABOUT
This video is all about Russian listening practice. A couple of months ago I published a similar listening test with 100 Russian sentences for beginners. You guys told me that it was very useful, so I decided to make another video for you to practice your Russian listening comprehension, but this time with slightly more difficult phrases for intermediate learners.
You’ll hear 50 short sentences in Russian, and each sentence will be repeated three times. The first two times there will be no subtitles. You should listen carefully and try to guess what I say in Russian. Then the recording will be played again, and the Russian sentence with its English translation will be displayed on the screen, so you can check the answer.
Remember that if you repeatedly listen to the pronunciation of native Russian speakers, it will really improve your Russian listening comprehension!

Спасибо большое! This was very beneficial to me. I struggled understanding most of the sentences as a whole, but I knew phrases here and there in most of them and it made me feel great, like maybe I actually am learning. And when I actually understood a few entire sentences, it was amazing. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us learners out here in the world. So well done ! 2 times oral and then with subtitles, it's really a good way to practice the listening and to learn words and grammar also. Especially when doing it several times. Something great would be to have the pdf with english one side russian the other, we could retrieve the russian phrases from the english ones. You could sell that to those interested, that would get you some money from your outstanding work for us. Greetings from France.

I do know that reading along is getting easier although I'm not sure how much of that is due to not being very familiar with Cyrillic and how much just plugging the new sounds into something.

Why cannot "Я забыла свой зонт в такси" be translated "I forgot my umbrella in the taxi", which is what it says, instead of " I left my umbrella behind in the taxi", which is not what it says? I find it frustrating, because I know enough Russian to see the difference, but the new learners do not. "Left behind" is not more polite or preferable in any way to "forgot". It only sounds more deliberate.

Можешь попробовать разговаривать вслух и употреблять новые слова. Или писать истории и пытаться использовать в них как можно больше тех слов, которые ты выучил, но не еще не использовал в речи.

      ...какой самый подходящий план...
P.S. План простой - надо просто много говорить. :) И много слушать.
