New (voiceover) Boulder Opal - Phase One - Underpainting Process

Countertop has been prepped with bonding primer and white epoxy undercoat paint by Stonecoat.
Next, I applied blue iridescent craft cellophane with fast set spray adhesive, being sure to thoroughly secure all edges. (I apologize that I did not capture this part of the process on video.)
I followed this the application of spray paints around the borders, followed by a spritz of plain alcohol before the spray paint dries. I used a glitter blue, followed by a champagne gold.
I stopped filming, so you don’t see it, but I added some lavender spray paint to a few areas, and some sprinkles of glitter into the wet paint.
