Yes Ladies, I'm out the window for this too. The gel reminds me of a eco consistancy but without the crunch. I feel the moisture in my hair. Volume on day one was lit!! I only brought the leave in and gel and I love in NC. It works with NC's humidity. This is the 1st Mielle I have fallen in💕💕with. This is mu new staple. Thanks M.A.D Curls😘

Michelle Lassiter anything that has moisture is key! Just remember that glycerin is right up there, which can cause frizz, tho they didn't seem to experience much
I’m excited to try this whole line. I literally just bought the custard and leave in from the pomegranate honey line today because now that I’ve big chopped gels work for me.

Thank you for mentioning the glycerin issue esp. for us with high porosity. Can cause frizz during times of high humid weather and brittle dryness in extra cold dry weather. I’ve used products that define and elongate. They clump and spiral my hair, then dries stiff to lessen the shrinkage.

I love how moisturizing this gel is and I noticed a Huge difference when I didn't add this Gel to my routine with the complete Sea Moss Collection and the Rosemary Mint Hair and Scalp Oil and the Mint Almod Oil when I just used the Sea Moss Curl Pudding without this Gel I noticed instantly my hair was not as moisturized it was feeling more dry I definitely want to try more in the Moisture RX Line favorite Gel I've tried so far now just need to find a Glycerin free Gel for when the humidity gets crazy high I live in Indiana after all

Both of your styles came out great! Volume and definition on day one! Please let us know how long your styles lasted and if either of your hair reacted to the Glycerin. I was so interested in getting the gel until I saw the Glycerin so high on the list. If I were to chance it, I would pair it with a non-glycerin leave-in for sure.
Just picked up the gel and leave-in from this line and I’m excited to try it. I live in Florida and it’s rainy season so moisture is really high and my hair loves it. Where did you get the water bottle? I’m loving that misting action😊.

Yess the humidity is the worse today our humidity was 67% and our feels like temp is 108😳😳😳 needless to say we’re not outside we’re inside cool and collected and watching our favorite ladies!!!

The butter is extremely light weight, I really think you guys will like it. Most Butters weigh my hair down, but this one rocks! Not sure if you guys are into braid outs, and stuff but I think it would work well for a wash and go as well.

People claim that coloring or highlighting your hair will break your hair off but it you keep your moisture levels up, you will be fine. You might have to do it more often but you must keep moisture levels up or it will be be dry and break off💯
Personally speaking, the hold to me definitely can be strengthened depending on if or how much alcohol or proteins are in the product. Glycerin/humectants and other moisturizers like panthenol, depending on if or how high it's on the list, can soften it. Like take my boo, the Eco Krystal, it has glycerin and hydrolized wheat protein. Wheat protein is on the first half of the list, and glycerin is a few ingredients below it. This can give me a very hard hold in the winter, and some flexibility in the summer, how soft the hold is in the summer depends on what leave in I use underneath
I LOVE your results! I’m currently just using the Uncle Funky’s Curly Magic as a one and done a lot, so I would love to know if the gel works as a one and done, very interested.

It smells like lemon pledge to me! When it launched it was on sale for $7 but sold out in 30 minutes. I ended up buying it from House of Beauty after Friday night live last week.

These products are on sale on Mielle's website ending today 7/21 but I can't do any glycerin living in Texas the humidity is just too intense.

Any recommendations for glycerin free leave ins and gels? I read that glycerin is a problem for high and low humidity. Medium humidity is best. High makes your hair more wet and lose curl while low makes your hair dry as it sucks out the moisture. Hope I didn’t mix that up😁

Milan Hunter Taylor doesn’t like the pomegranate stylers (not sure if Lori tried them) at all so I’m sure this line is better for them
Personally, Mielle organics products don't work on my hair. Will give this time a go in the hope this range works!

Kimberly Wilson Vincent well it causes frizz and many people complain that their hair loses definition and will turn into a fro and will suffer dryness .. in the summer any moisture u would get from glycerine is sucked right out of your hair so be mindful especially when it’s high up on the ingredient list 1st 2nd 3rd ingredient
I love how it looks freshly washed and styled but as soon as you say medium hold I'm like *screeeeech* Idk if that would work for me after a day out in the elements and a night of sleep. Even if I'm sleeping in AC'd room and on a satin pillow medium hold doesn't sound promising. So I'm curious how it held up for you two in the days following.

What are the issues you guys have with glycerin? Just curious because I don't have issues with glycerin in humid weather. My hair loves glycerin year round & I live on the East Coast.
