My Dad was a reseller and weekends at the flee Market were common place. I used to get so mad at him because he would give me a pile of fedish and silver beads and as soon as I finish with one he would sell it before I even had time to admire my work. He later started making knives and Monroe Tahmahkera Adopted my Father because his knives were so good. After that he was allowed to stamp his knives Indian made. Sorry about making your video all about me I just wanted you to know I too have a great passion for silver and Turquoise just like you. If you get a chance look up Monroe Tahmahkera. He was the great grand kid of Quanaha Parker.
Hello Jason! Enjoyed every minute and can't choose a favorite. Although, If wearing the contemporary mixed turquoise I'd be staring at it all day. Fantastic piece by a talented artists. Thank you for sharing!! ❤❤❤
I loved the deco inspired piece near the end. What workmanship and I loved the design. Thank you for sharing all of this! I have a number of pieces that my father left me, large sterling and turquoise with claw, buckles and rings mostly. I have no idea what they would bring. My goal is to use the proceeds for them to buy a super nice piece for myself so I can remember him every time I wear it.
Jason when I was a kid my family was in Germany for a few years. In French class we had to roll the Rs....i was about 7 or 8. I absolutely drove my family crazy lol they got so fed up with me lol
I bought my father a turquoise bolo tie in the 70’s which he was buried in along with his green leisure suit. He loved that tie which was a honor, because he was the best dad ever❤❤❤ love your collection and the green ring on your right hand. You are the best
Jason, I think this is one of my favorites!!! The bolo ties are fantastic. Thank you for sharing. The Native American pieces are still my favorite go to jewelry pieces. I love how you say different pieces make you very happy!!! Tourquoise makes me Happy too!! 😊 ❤ Please keep sharing with us as we love all the info, seeing your stunning collections, and Love you and your positive vibe. ❤️
I love asymmetry! But the 4 stones and 3 flowers makes it dance!!! I like ‘ Go after the best you can afford!’ Divine Sugilite, lapis and turquoise etc is so royal!!! Thank you💜💚💙
Turquoise is so beautiful, I'm always amazed by the variations in color, but I also love me a good, silky, smooth blue one, it's just a heavenly stone!
Jason..Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr🐯 Turquoise is my top three favorite stones. I loved everything about this video. Especially your collection of natural turquoise specimens in the beginning of the video. My favorite bolo tie was surprisingly the modern piece of David's. But every single piece you showed us was truly a work of art in themselves. Perfect camera angle 👍 for this video. I want more videos on any turquoise jewelry Please 🧡 Thank you so much for sharing your divine collection with us.🧡 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Oohhh thank you Jason! My grandpa always wore bolo's. I made him a couple of goofy ones when I was young and he wore them anyway, because he loved me. I'm from the SW and always found local jewelry boring because so many people wore it. Boy was I missing out. I sold my grandma's squash blossom and gianormous concho belt for $150 I was such a bonehead. I've studied different stones and what mines they came from for many years, but never turquoise, which I should be fluent :/ You are an absolute blessing from the LORD ❤🕊️🤗
#replay I like stones! My Dad was a geologist and I try to channel him as I rolled my eyes when I was young. Finished goods are magic but give me the rough elements and I feel at home! 💕🤣💕💕
Jason, thank you for doing this video. I just started collecting native American Jewelry, although I've had a passion for it for years (Old Hag)😊 I l have learned so much from you. I would also like to add that your camera and lighting is excellent. Regards to your Mom and Jeremy!
Thank you so much! My favorite is Native American jewelry. I love all aspects of it including the storytelling. Recently I went to a pow wow, and an artist shared the story of one of his pieces about how the Milky Way was formed. We got really emotional as the story is so beautiful.
Loved your collection of turquoise bolo ties and rings. I gave a lot of mine away in the 80’s and now I’m like whaaat was I thinking!? Time to start a new collection. Thanks for showing good and better so we will be able to notice the craft on pieces. ❤
Hey love love all your rings oh my gosh you and Jeremy have to stop by Ashtabula and visit us sometime if you're ever in the area that would be so much fun❤❤❤❤
Turquoise is one of my fave gemstone! I have a beautiful cuff bracelet that was my Aunts it’s from the 70s. All of these pieces had its own charm the eagle and lizard piece and the multi colored shield piece are just Devine. All are beautiful though! As always just love your content! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Jason, You are lovely to listen to, and your knowledge gives us a better understanding of these beautiful objects. It is funny how often the timing of the video collection you choose to share was something I was wondering about. I don’t have much knowledge of stones, which I usually picked up over the years just because I was drawn to them. The other day, I went through some of my stone pendants and found a sterling and turquoise carved winged and body Eagle! Very interesting! 😊 I get a trill that you genuinely appreciate and love your collection. Thanks for saving these treasures! And Turtles! ❤
Beautiful bolo ties!! Cerrillos turquoise comes from New Mexico. I visited a wonderful shop up in the mountains and he was Navajo and knew all the different mines, most of which he said are mined out! So proud of your Spanish pronouncing ( remember to roll those rr’s)😃😂I’m Puerto Rican and it comes naturally to me! Love you so much Jason!❤ ❤
I think a lil polish accents the tarnish. I am stunned-which I knew I would be when you finally shared just a portion of your magnificent Native American collection! Tanya had another guy friend a ways back that shared an amazing collection on her channel.🤤
Omg love your rings again ❤….lol yes love the turquoise rocks especially the greener ones. I’m a December baby and a Capricorn 🎉 we definitely have the same taste in jewelry and things you picked out from the flea markets. I’m much older then you but we would get along well shoping together. But you have taught me a lot in jewelry and other thing. 😊 ❤ you
