    Really wanted to see how you secured the buttons so they would last.

      I used to but people weren't watching all the way through so I stopped. But the best way I have found is to use the same working yarn. That's why I suggest leaving a long tail at the beginning and end of the work. (In this case you end up right back at the start so you need a fresh strand to attach one side)
      Getting a thin enough needle with a large eye for the yarn to go thru but thin enough to go thru the button is key. I know many people use thread and that's fine as long as you go into the button several times to make sure the button is solid. With the yarn it's easier to secure because of the thickness. You still need to go into the button as many times as you can get the needle thru it on order for it to be nice and secure. I hope this helps! 😊🤗

      @@thecrochetmeknots How do you tie it off so there is not a knot against the person's head

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  3 роки тому

      Make a small knot and weave in the end of the tail in a zigzag way to prevent it from coming lose. This helps secure the whole thing. You really can't feel the knot against your head.

      Hola!! Todo lo explico al principio del video. También lo hice en español si se le hace más fácil de seguir paso a paso. 😊El estambre es medio #4 y el ganchillo es de 5mm y la cadena de inicio es de 26 👍 este es el link para el video en español.

      Not if you started with the correct chain count in your base chain of multiples of 2+1 like it says on the video
