Hi In the tall leaves you treble crochet 20 up the stem but how many trebles till you pick up the leaf? Sorry can’t seem to find it.
I know this comment is a few months old and probably you’ve figured it out by now, but in case anybody else was wondering and stumbles upon this in the future: it’s 21 before you pick up the leaf! 😊

I have a curiosity question. I've noticed that 3-ply yarn is used in many tutorials along with a 3 or 3.5 hook those that are European based whereas 4-ply and a 5.5 or 6mm hook s used in American based tutorials. I was just wondering if 3-ply is the European standard or am I just seeing tutorials where 3 ply is used?
Thank you to anyone who can address my curiosity.
This tutorial is done in Double Knitting (8 ply). Anita is using a 3.5mm hook for this as she explains the leaf looks better using the smaller hook. The rest of the blanket uses a 4mm hook which is the most common hook to use with DK.
