I recently finished my homemade version of the sonovox. Just two bulk 20w transducers jammed into old headphones powered by a 90s computer stereo amplifier. Not very pro looking, but lots of fun!
lol yes! We think it should be easier for people to experiment with this, so we're going through a ton of design changes to hone in on something really good, but it will be simple enough that we can make it opensource and 3d-printable. In the old days, it looked like they were literally just using two "tweeter" speakers pressed against the throat.
Would you just need an amplifier like something you'd use for an acoustic guitar
@@marbles2223 I think you'd want a stereo amplifier so you can have channels on both sides of your throat, but yes, anything you can power a transducer will work.

@@playitcoolmusic Some broken monoprice headphones, mounted dayton audio transducers inside, powered with a modified 90s apple speaker amp. You don't have to do the headphone mount if you just hold the transducers and have them wired securely, but I prefered it.

Not anymore, since God has led us in a different direction for ministry. We will likely be sharing other projects in the future.
