I as a Nigerian pray that this company prosper and not be neglected by the employees and owners. Let them employe qualify people that wants to work and care for the company.
Udom"s media team should have done more to promote his legacies. Anyways, posterity will be kind to him as this factory alongside other industries he setup will remain as lasting reminders of his administration. Please do similar documentaries on other industrial strides of this state. The airline and the whole aviation ecosystem, the meter manufacturing factory, floor mills, automobile plant, etc. Looking forward to when this factory expands further and becomes listed in the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Alongside other Akwa Ibom industries. The best of this state is still yet to come and i pray Umo Eno surpasses Udom Emmanuel in all ramifications as that's the only way to ensure the state's economy remains on a steady growth path
GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS AKWA IBOM STATE, WE LOVE THIS DEVELOPMENT BY HIS EXCELENCES UDOM EMMANUEL, ALL AKWAIBOMITE MAY STATE THEIR PERSONAL COCONUT PLANTATION FARM. WE HAVE THE GOOD LAND TO CULTIVATE.
Yes, I caught that as well However it is still a very good production facility, which is likely $1m to $1.4m upfront capital plus operating cost and maintenance, if the feedstocks are coming steadily the will see a great return on capital & ROI
I am a Jamaican now living in Toronto Canada I wlli be looking to buy from this factory in the coming years. I will contact this factory soon myabe 10 thousand litres and more 1 to 2 times per year. I will be glad to find help the company find other buyers in canada.
Gov. Udom Emmanuel has good taste just like his predecessors. His projects are world-class standard projects. May God Almighty continue to bless our state with good leaders.
The priority for safety of personnel in this plant is very poor. It shows low HSE standards in this plant.. I call on the state government to improve the safety standards of this facility
Good work here, Please can I get the contact of the consultant for a business deal on converting the waste from the company to generating electricity. Thanks
Be positive. The company will not be grounded, it can be sold to private investors. However, bending down to pick coconuts by workers everytime is mot a good practice. Their waists in few years may be affected.
I congratulate our state, but I believe they can do better when it comes to HSE. WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE WORKERS OPERATE MACHINES WITHOUT HAND GLOVES. MANAGEMENT YOU CAN DO BETTER. I GIVE YOU A THUMB DOWN FOR FOR THAT SINGULAR REASON, but as for the facility it is a plus plus THUMB UP.
Nigeria must package all product they produce. These coconut oil should not be sold to the western countries. All the product that use coconut oil in the production line must be produce in Nigeria.
Everyone needs to wear safety clothing. The lady interviewing moving around with hair in factory is really wrong. Good initiative. Hope it won't be played with godfatherism to benefit one person.
It look like this project is a white elephant. Considering the cost of the plant, labor cost and volume of production the mathematics is not viable. There’s no substantial coconut seen around the plant unlike those coconut oil mills in India, Philippines and Vietnam where the pile of coconut ready for processing can reach the floor of the 2nd story building. The evidence of high productivity is not seen on this video except the number of rooms that look like a corporate office than a production plant.
Good factory and very inspiring. But the presenter (the lady), has to change her attitude. Her facial expressions didn’t show that she enjoyed her job or seemed uncomfortable with Engr. Uwah right from the beginning. Her attitude was basically annoying to me throughout the video. This video is a form of advert & she’s meant to present this to Nigerians & the world through her contributions, questions, gestures and interactions.
I PROMISE YOU... COME BACK IN 5 YEARS AND MORE THAN HALF OF THESE MACHINES WILL NOT BE WORKING... I AM SAYING THIS IN 2023. IF I AM LYING I WILL PERSONALLY GO THERE TO AKWA IBOM AND RECORD THE EVIDENCE MYSELF
You're right. Our maintenance culture is zero. That's why nothing works in Nigeria, and all the government always drag people who are trying to improve down.
@@AmfineAndyou right. Sounds like a business opportunity. He's probably not even Afrikan. Only wishing bad things for us (probably one of the whites in SA)
Don't get him wrong, @@AmfineAndyou. He is only pointing out what is fact, it's like that everywhere in Africa. We lack maintenance culture, especially state-owned companies. It would've been good if company was private-owned one. I'm not against state-owned companies, in fact, they are the best for the state and the ordinary African, but only if they properly managed.
I love this state with passion thank you for bringing it on here
I as a Nigerian pray that this company prosper and not be neglected by the employees and owners. Let them employe qualify people that wants to work and care for the company.
Thanks sincerely Passion Edge Media for bringing this to our knowledge. Pls, bring more of these to us.
Udom is working!
Good job many people said this factory is not working but now i see is working, thanks to d governor udom

Thoughts really insightful!
Thank you. We will go on....

I love this analysis, the man is over brilliant
I was expecting to see the production of coco peat from the coconut fiber used for hydroponic farming
The MD gave the wrong price for 1 ton of virgin coconut oil. The price per ton is on average $1,600 and not $16,000 as claimed. Please be guided.

Thank you!

May God bless Nigerians with good maintenance Amen.
Thank you for the great job, well done!

Good stuff congratulations please expansion is needed
Wow this facility is great.

This is one of the number one ingredient for cooking Jamaican rice and beans 😋
I see 44DD too some people said they are better in keeping u company , got coco Nut oil too
My dear, you don't just put coconut oil on the skin, it's meant to be inside and outside..of the entire body including the hair. ❤
An excellent initiative. I didn't see women.
I love this.... The factory is what am looking at wot it will cost to keep it running in IMO state... Any ideas?
Also useful for cosmetics (lotions and hair products and etc.)

Underground mudic is too loud please

They are using gloves. I think they only are wearing one hand so they can have a better hold on the coconuts
Students should be wise to seek internship in companies like this and other factories to be able to replace the Indian managers after graduation
I think the factory should have an African name not Saint Gabriel. Think Africa.
Nigeria must package all product they produce. These coconut oil should not be sold to the western countries. All the product that use coconut oil in the production line must be produce in Nigeria.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How much do they buy coconuts for?

They can't even get professional to document this so that it will be good to watch.
Okay!

I thought as you are such a dedicated manager you would take it over and manage more successfully.l challenge you.

Hire one Indian or Lebanese as general manager, not will have a chance
