I’m a regular watcher of your channel and enjoy the old style of from the kitchen into. I also watched the Irish independent party on the build up to the European elections but I was disappointed that they have not released any videos until yesterday that’s 4 weeks with no footage no information Disappointed Fair Play till ya.
If the Party hadn't over-reacted to its councillors trying to protect 'their' seats, there wouldn't be an FF-Independent political party. The one whose house was raided for questioning was only ever interested in retaining 'his' seat. He declared his devotion for FF as soon as he won re-election. Disgraceful. Shameless. At least we got some of them to kind of turn on each other.
Election success comes from helping ordinary people on the ground. It takes time. Candidates should put boots on the ground and canvass far and wide and be ready to take abuse. Don't wait for the election to be announced - do the groundwork.
Ok Val, you are probably right so I hope you will be present at the Independent Ireland public meeting in Portlaoise on 11th July so that the public are aware of your observation. Sadly with only a few months to go before a GE I don't see any new alternative programme for Government from any new party. Maybe the II party is a FF offshoot but on the other hand your Irish Freedom Party may well be a FG offshoot. The first picture I see when I open up their website is a picture of Michael Collins of civil war fame Personally, I don't care if a local candidate came from a FF FG or SF family as long as they put forward a plan to give our citizens home security, a workable health system and a properly managed administration designed to eliminate the financial burden on the vast majority of us.
