I love watching you paint on your videos. Your work is awesome. I love this video but what catches my attention on this one is what is behind the canvases. That is what I think is incredible and you need to extract it somehow if you have not done already.

Liebe Jessica, ich schreibe Dir jetzt nochmal das auf Deutsch, was ich bereits eben gerade jemand anderem auf Englisch schreib: Es hört sich voll abgedroschen an, ist aber nichts als die Wahrheit: Malen lernt man durch malen! Das Allerwichtigste ist: Genieß was Du tust, nimm Dir Deine Zeit, sei ganz DU und versuche ein wenig furchtlos zu sein. Es gibt keine Fehler, nur ganz viele neue Chancen. Die Leinwand ist DEINE Bühne für DEINE persönliche Realität. Nur Dir hat es zu gefallen und Du sollst bunte und glückliche Momente verbringen. Und dann kommt eines Tages der ganze Rest von alleine ♥ Jeden Tag ein wenig mehr, mit jedem Moment, den Du mit dem Pinsel in der Hand verbringst.

I love your your art and have watched several of your videos many times. Can I ask, how do you hang your canvas on the wall before you paint? I would like to try this at home. Thank you for sharing your work! It's beautiful!!!
Awesome....... i love this freedom of expression that you both share here....... i have been watching you do your dances and its been strange, i watch at times, then i watch again and just forget about it... now slowly, ever so often when i paint, i realise that i am using some techniques which you so kindly share with us here...... its like they just sink into the subconscious, even if at that time, i just watch and let it be... but still on some level, the learning is still happening... it just shows up when it wants i guess :) one small question...... i have been trying the sprays lately..... is there some thing you do to keep the nozzle clean without having them clog? Are they waterbased?

Polymer Clay Artist Thank you... And no, our shirt-colors are like that just by accident ;) And if your first try was a fail--- go, try it again and again :) Painting is to learn in the best way while painting! :) ♥
einfach Cool. Werden die Acrylfarben mit Retator gemischt? Bei mir trocknen die Farben so schnell weg, weil ich nicht so schnell malen kann. Deine Arbeiten große Klasse.
Nein, ich benutze keine Medien, keinen Retarder. Das hängt einfach ab von der Schicht der Farbstärke und der Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit, so wie von der jeweiligen Raumtemperatur, auf die die Farbe natürlich reagiert. Versuch Deine Farben evtl mal großzügiger zu verwenden. Dünne Farbschichten trocknen natürlich extrem schnell. Und dann gibt es natürlich auch bei Acryl Unterschiede. Eine sehr pastose Farbe "zieht schneller an", als eine eher liquideingestellte etc... Danke Dir ♥ und liebe Grüße
Where do you get your stencils? Are they from hardware shop or from art store. I can't find any good ones here in the US: they are all flowery, paisley, ridiculous shapes. Thanks Sabah

Barbara Rathbun Hello Barbara. Thank you very much. In the most cases, I work with my own brushes, which I sell also through my shop (which is unfortunately actually offline because of a servercrash, but we are already working on it). But try to get smooth/ soft paint brushes with a good tension. I also love Liquitex free style paintbrushes. You should find them through google. Good luck ♥

Thank you :) And ooooooh no, I don't think that you wish to hear everything where we are talking about ;) No, but sincerely, I understand what you mean, but that will be a little bit difficult. I think that I do one day again some videos with explanations.

It sounds just like a lightly said sentence, but it is nothing than the truth: You learn painting while painting :)
The most important thing: Enjoy what you do, take your time, be YOU and try to be fearless. There are NO mistakes, just a lot of new chances. The canvas ist YOUR stage for your personal reality. Just you have to like it and to spend colorfull and happy moments. And then, everything else will come from alone one day ♥ Everyday a little bit more, with every moment that you spend with the paintbrush in your hands.
