When i look at this painting, i imagine two people standing on a cliff (lower left corner), gazing upon a flying city (upper right). Marvelous painting!
painting is totally something that can calm the mind. i can spend hours in my garage doing giant mixed media canvas paintings, its just so soothing.

I just love the way your videos allow me to enter the process and experience feeling. I had an overf whelming sense of sadness with a hint of hope. Like 2 souls desperately trying come together tho fate was keeping them apart. Even as fate was keeping them apart hey were still reaching&reaching for each other and holding onto a glimmer of strength and will that they would one day come together as 1. I like abstract because when it is good, it invites into a feeling and imposes noting specific on its viewers. It just is. And it is nice. This is great. I prefer this over abstracts that scream color and no substance. This is perfect.
Ja diesmal war ich auch selbst gespannt... Und wenn Dein Mann darüber lacht ist es doch toll :) Solange ich keine Ehestreitigkeiten auslöse weil einer zu viel Video schaut ist doch alles gut ;)

hi, i used to make metal sculpture. back surgery has cramped my style. i want to paint the sculptures i have in mind. been watching many nonobjective abstract painters on utube. your painting is the first i've seen that uses lines,planes, and volumes in the way i want to assemble my work (paintings now). you are truly inspired . thank you for sharing. peter

I can't speak for themaker of this video, but for myself and some others I know start off with a general concept and color scheme. After you get started it evolves from there. Most of the time my paintings turn out totally different than I first imagined.

Abstract is about letting your go and loosening up. If ive done a realistic piece, there is nothing more fun than doing an abstract piece. Its fun and you learn alot of new skills. Dont judge people till you have had a go yourself. Its fun.
