Son of legendary Australian shaper and surfer Neal Purchase, Neal Purchase Jnr was more or less born into the profession and culture. Growing up competing, Neal found his way as a free surfer, later following his father’s footsteps as a shaper. Now, Neal is renowned internationally for his surfing ability as well as his craftsmanship.
An ever evolving refinement of classic designs, Neal’s boards are just as much a work of art as they are high performance surf craft. Yet despite his status in the surf world, 'Purcho' is one of the most kind, humble people you will meet. In fact, he scored the soundtrack for this very film 🏄‍♂️
