- I had a trip planned where I would be transiting in China, Guangzhou Airport. I followed all the steps to get the 24/144-hour transit visa on arrival, but unfortunately, it was denied, and I had to wait at the airport. This video is for anyone who is thinking about transiting at Guangzhou Airport in China and applying for the 24/144-hour visa-free transit.

I have a layover from Nepal to Chengdu for 19hrs in April
So sorry for what happened to your transit in China. And that explains why many people are still unwilling to travel to China these days globally. As China doesn't have a habit of informing anyone for any new rules or any changes to their current rules. Hence what you really need to travel to China is luck more than anything else.
How, tell me how to inform?
China doesn't won BBC, CNN
When China post something on YT via CGTN, how many people could get informed when that channel was SHDW banned
i have 9 hour layover in shanghai in one month, do i still need to book some hotel to get a 24h visa? Me and my friend want to make a quick trip around centre of shanghai
Just give them an address of a local hotel and you should be fine.

Mecca in south Arabia
go layover at gour home city airport then.
Aping Australian tang and speaking funny.
what?
That sucks that you got denied but it makes sense. They probably want flyers to have a long enough layover so they can make it back to their next flight on time. Less than 8 hours isn't enough time in my opinion to see anything. I know when I went to Beijing and Xi'an in 2018, I had a tourist visa. I was so glad I got it. I didn't want to leave anything to chance.
why would anyone wanna layover in China? I don't get it, airline sucks, nothing much at airport, no good shopping and visa restrictions. Korea, Japan are all excellent layover places. And don't layover in Vietnam because that's even worst, airport is literally 3rd world country.
bigot alert!!!
I don’t recall airports in Japan that much better than China. Sounds like you have never been to China. Or you have only been there back in the 90s.
Guanzhou has an insane airport with a huge lounge what are you talking about ?
Make sure you know what you talk about if you havent been to China. People layover China for the cheapers flight or 144 hours transit visa. Not even mention the airlines and airports of China are some of the best in the world, first class infrastructure and service. Korea and Japan? Sorry, been both and feel extremely boring.
