Glad to hear, I got saved at 13 I'm now 62 my advice is keep Faithing in CHRIST and what he accomplished for you on that old rugged cross such as ETERNAL LIFE, Grace (unmerited favor),access to the FATHER, peace of God,peace with God, LOVE of God ,Love with God ...keep faithing all your life
Thank You so very much for sharing your testimony!! At age 15 I was in Church cuz my Grandma said this is what we do!! And at age 71 plus, I am very thankful for Grandma Butler and her, Faith, influencing mine!! I Love our Lord and have seen His Timing, time and time again!! Psalm 66 20, Job 22 28 and Ephesians 3 20 and 2 Corinthians 9 8 Comes to my mind!! I went to THE Alter and asked for THE Gift to Retain Scripture around age 45 and Our Lord granted it!! This just takes me back in time. I went to church several times with our neighbors to their church in Nicodemus, KS. The first time I went I came home and told my Momma that I'd gone to CHURCH ! She said honey you go to church every week. I responded no Momma, not like we went to church. We were singing and dancing ! She just smiled at me!

At one time, I had every Homecoming video you had produced with the exception of the second or third one, and oh what joy they brought over the years. What a magnificent thing God did when He led you to do that first homecoming reunion. And on you go, all these years later, still blessing us with the musical expression of the glory of the Lord.

Yes, 2024 is a very different time now as far as assembling and worship. Also, Christian does not mean what it once meant. So since we cannot turn back the clock we occupy until Jesus comes knowing we don't have long to wait.
Cannot stop crying and commenting. This has touched my soul as was intended, directly from the Lord. How precious are the feet of those He has blessed with the talent of music.

Back in 1979 I found Jesus i was baptised as a teenager,the pastor family lives in Tuscon, AZ, they haves a beautiful ranch, bed n breakfast there🤣I played piano too gaither songs way back in the 1970*s ✨🎍🎀🏆my favorite christian singers ( Sandi patty, Michael w.smith, imperials, Petra, Amy grant, gaither vocal band) 🌹💓

The Gaither musical productions introduced a lot of younger whites to internationally known artists while the Artist were still willing to show the world that Jesus said: "" There is no Jew, Greek, bond or free, no male, or female, all are one in Christ Jesus. I'm not talking about traditions and rituals that take place in churches under the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is a Common Latin name at time. His Title was Christ. He was no ordinary layperson. I was raised in LosAngeles California. My maternal grandmother was my mother( mother died from complications of after birth. I was twin. I weighed 2 pounds . She passed 2 weeks later.,) so, I learned how to care for her. My Grandmother sang with Mother Willie Mae Ford Smith( in very early 1931,35. She still backed up Tommy Dorsey. Clara WARD. Joe May. I thank God for the Gaither Family. I sincerely appreciate all that you've done and all your doing now. Praise God for the whole family. Asking God to guide them. I was born in the Baptist tradition. However, we as blacks we've always had expressive forms of worship. And even when one starts to tear up or feel like" OMG"; . No, 50.00 is I say thank you Lod, I can" cry" and rejoice. at same time. Jesus wept. MUSIC IS THE LANUAGE WE CAN UNDERSTAND. I'LL BE 60 IN FEW MONTHS. GOD HAS A HELP MEET SOON. STAY BLESSED.

I have watched every Gaither video since 1991 and I have to say I believe this one is my favorite one! My favorite song is "Center of my joy". I know Richard Smallwood wrote this song with Bill & Gloria, and the first time I heard it several years ago, I fell in love with it. I also love "Can't nobody do me like Jesus" by Andre Crouch. If that song don't get you blessed, baby, you're dead. You can learn about John Newton if you ever watch the movie "Amazing Grace".

Growing up in NC our babysitter took us once to see some of these folks . Sure am glad we went. Learned things we at SQM are still putting to use. We were 7, 9, and 12. The Parker Trio all gone home except one.
