I sure like Dylan's openness about his growing company and his products. Someday, when/if my income might allow it, I'll buy an 8 channel amp from him. When was talking about the steel tab on the binding posts causing a tiny bit of distortion he reminded me of the fact that steel is only 15% as conductive as copper. Aluminum is only 60% as conductive as copper.
Love youthman, he (like most of us) has no idea what Dylan is talking about 😅. Love how he brought the layman’s mindset to this conversation. What sold me on Dylan is how transparent and honest he is, it’s impossible fake it. Kudos Dylan! Great job featuring him youthman!
I have the Denon A1H (from Ryan) paired up with the Buckeye 3-Channel Purifi (from Dylan) for my LCR. Both amazing products with some of the best customer service I've experienced in some time, in any industry. Just wish they had a referral program for as much as I refer people to them lol. Glad they teamed up.
I'm 100% fine with the looks. I build nearly everything myself and like simplicity, minimalism, and utility, especially when the focus is on performance. They will look perfect in my cinderblock and concrete fake chimney sound system thing I built
How does it compare to 3 channel power amps that are also focused on stereo listening? E.g. Mark Levinson 533H, Parasound Halo 31, Arcam FMJ P349, and Anthem MCA 325 gen 2. I am looking for a 3 channel for stereo and home cinema, but don’t want to sacrifice stereo SQ (I currently have the Musical Fidelity Nu Vista 600 amp). By the way I am interested in how amps sound, not measure, because I heard amps/dacs that measure great and don’t sound good (e.g. listening fatigue, too analytical and harsh), and poor measuring amps/dacs that measure poorly but sound wonderful.
I was wondering the same thing and looking at the same amps. Ready to spend up to 5k. I pulled the trigger on a 3ch purifi. Before I moved it into my cinema setup I tried it on my 2ch setup. I was comparing to my rotel mkii 1552. I could notice the power difference, but there was also a surprising clarity difference. Every detail was there, separated, and easier to change focus to whatever I wanted (drum snare vs single Tom, or bass line, or rhythm guitar vs the lead part). I was rather surprised there was a difference. I was not expecting it. My 2ch has a dedicated dac and preamp in the channel. Now I have two 4ch’s coming for atmos heights and bed layer. I will be replacing the rotel with 2 monoblocks soon. Don’t let all the forums and junk drive you. Follow your instinct. You’ll be happy!
@@FriendOfaCoolFriend So did you get rid of the Rotel? Was the Buckeye better than the Rotel? I was looking at a Rotel - RB-1582 MKII. I want to buy one time and be done with it.
@@brosmile9388 hey man. This change was a while ago now. I went with buckeye because the song was not worse. I believe equal, but don’t recall if better. The rotel was a good amp, but the buckeye is smaller and operates cooler. I get plenty of power and volume. Financially it made more sense. So where am I today? I run all buckeye! I have 7 buckeye amps. Two of which are mono block gen2 purifis (the new) paired with my Perlisten s7t’s. That’s how much faith I put into buckeye. For me they are powerful and clean. I let me preamp and DAC choices determine soundstage and all that other detail. Just my two cents. Buckeye amps are great.

I agree. The challenge comes with getting your brand out there when you don’t have “middle men “ to push it.

Well this interview makes me want to try/buy Buckeye. Thanks Guys!
Buckeye and Geshelli are 2 emerging US companies providing high quality products at a reasonably price.

Really great video and the prices are so reasonable. What company lowers their prices!!.Hope this company becomes huge.

great video ..thanks for having DYLEN on tonight...
Just bought a 2 channel 252 for my office. Hoping to get an 8 channel 500 soon if it goes well for my theater.
My 13ch all powered by Hypex 252/502 couldn’t be happier

I run a 3ch purifi for LCR and Hypex for remaining channels. Couldnt be happier.
That’s great to hear!
do you get a loud pop when you turn them off ?
@@junior-OG No, but there is a right and wrong order to turn things on to mitigate those pops.

Thank god I don’t have to buy a basx anymore! I’m definitely getting one.
When will the Eigentakt 2 module be used for the Buckeye amps?
3 channel Buckeye -Purifi coming !!
