Man, Oetsu’s English VA left a much bigger impression on me than the Japanese VA did. Kudos to the casting and script writers for this.

The rare instance where I actually will say the dub is much better than the original. For his character it would make sense though. Hard to translate all his lingo properly into Japanese too.

I've only watched the dub for this adaptation because I want to focus on the amazing visuals rather than have my attention drawn to subtitles so I had no idea what the Japanese VA sounded like and after going back and checking, I can confidently say that THIS is the best way to experience Oetsu Nimaiya. I love how he calls him Go-Ichi too
