"Now bring me prisoner 24601, your time is up and your parole's begun. You know what that means?"
it means I'm free~
No. It means you get your yellow ticket of leave. You are a thief!
Shadows: Shouldn't we be attacking?
Shadow Akane: Nah, i wanna see what it's final form look like.
And so it must be, for so it is written on the doorway to paradise that those who falter and those who fall must pay the price!
Ok but seriously they could all slip through those bars if they tried. Anns literally standing there in between two of them
There’s gotta be a TV trope or something out there about that, it’s not the first time to see that in this game
Valjean is played by Hugh Jackman in the Les Miserables movie, where a criminal is also referred to as a "wolf." Hugh Jackman's most known role is Wolverine. Zenkichi's phantom thief attire resembles Van Helsing, who late into the movie gains the curse of the werewolf, and is also played by Hugh Jackman. Coincidenceithinknot . gif
His gameplay is literally the definition of a Buster
I think my favorite awakening/reveals are Joker,Wolf,Crow and Dr. Maruki they are just so badass with the animation and voices
“Show your Gaolers you wear a different chain” god that’s such a badass line
Oh my god playing thru this part with my sister was INSANE bc she’s a *massive* les mis fan like not just the musical but the book and several other adaptations so by like the second or third line she just started screaming ITS VALJEAN ITS VALJEAN and im just What BUT LO AND BEHOND???? god that was literally insane
oh I love him more now
I like this guy already I like how he moves I like how he talks I like how he acts like a rebel and a Lonewolf
Nobody:
Ryuji: For real?!
1:48 this line is so good
Definitely my favorite of all the phantom thieves hands down. It was built up PERFECTLY
I never expect that we are getting a new phantom thieves member in this game. A badass one at that
I got hyped when the music kicked in
That was just...whoa 🥶
At that moment i was sure zenkichi was about to become a “monarch” or turn in a shadow of himself when i heard “thou art” I was so fucking hyped
same !!
At last, Valjean, we see each other plain
Monsieur le Mayor, *you'll wear a different chain...*
His sword looks incredible and he has Two Guns!? This guy is ready for a battle!!
tonight, Zenkichi joins the hunt
I love him so much
Fun Fact: Zenkichi is voiced in the dub by Tom Taylorson, who you might also know as Bunger from Bugsnax.
Zenkichi(Wolf)’s Phantom Thief outfit is badass!
Man I'm excited to see what comes next and am more or less ready to move on to persona 6, but there is NO way the awakening method can be cooler than 5. 5's awakenings are just perfect
Hell yes to this game!
His reaction to what happened to his clothes is funny
tonight zenkichi joins the hunt....
I love that I got to hear willpower more than once in this game, I'd have been bummed if they went with a different track for persona awakenings.
As always ryuji, yes. "For real"
Heh can't wait to see a Persona based off of Edgar Allen Poes' works like Cask of Amontillado might be a persona later on in the series.
I’m pretty sure the feeling comes from half a game of build up but DAMN does Zenkichi deserve that awakening. It’s the only out of ANYONE that made say “LET’S GO!”
Absolutely lost my shit the moment I heard Valjean speak to Zenkichi. Love him as a character. Also adults awakening to their Pesonas is really rare.
damn they could fit through those bars
