My next WORLD FIRST RECORD attempt will take place in the AMAZON!
This September, I set off for something that has never been done before.
My next location is SURINAME!
Suriname has more rainforest per square mile than any other country in the world and vast amounts of it, remain totally unexplored.
I will attempt to be the first to kayak from source to sea of one of the world’s most uncharted rivers: The Coppename River.
Not only this, my team and I will attempt to summit the two highest mountains in the fastest time.
We’ll have a lot to contend with, not only is where we’re going so remote, the only way into the jungle is via helicopter and as it stands, we may not be able to land the helicopter. Meaning the it’ll have to hover as low as it possibly can above deep waters…. For us to jump!
The Amazon is the most biodiverse part of planet Earth, there’s more life per square mile than there is anywhere else on Earth, not just now, but in the entire fossil record!
Home to jaguar, anaconda, caiman, piranha, snakes, spiders, electric eel, stingray and so many other beautiful creatures that we’ll have to be situationally aware of.
There will be three records being attempted on this one journey and documented by Guinness World Records.

@@AshDykes This is inspirational stuff as are your other adventures! I walked across Wales last year following the Cambrian Way as my first adventure bigger than a weekend. I am now planning and saving to walk across Sri Lanka next year. I will be continuing to watch and learn from your adventures.
Unbelievable task ahead going to be some achievement when it’s the completed… but I do sense some animosity towards a certain runner who had a support crew in a van hence the repeated mention of not having a support van.. just an observation. Good luck.

@@eppo7431 Not really sure, there will be at parts, I just don’t think many people know where in Suriname as it’s not as explored as Peru and the other Amazonian countries.
