- I am leaving La for a new adventure. I am going to sleep in desert with my family. Meet one of my fans. It's so hot in the desert. Will I survive?

Karolina , Thank you so much for taking us along on this amazing camping trip in the desert you guys where so well prepared with a kettle and special flavoured teas I love the Joshua trees some of them must be hundreds of years old. I don’t think I would like to stay to long where it’s so hot I’m glad you did some hiking and got to explore the area that is so nice . I hope you enjoy your experience sleeping in a tent. I love your enthusiasm it’s lovely to see you so happy and full of life. 👏👏❤️❤️🙏🙏🌵🌵
The yuuca plant is a multi use plant ,wash your hair/ body ...called " soldier root".. the plant has soooo many uses...enjoy your trip!! The flowering cactus with " hand sized" paddles are prickly pear cactus, there is a little pear ,at the base of the flower.. they don't last long, so if you pick, you eat..!!?? The other " red " flower cactus, are nice to look at, but,((not)) eat! The ones on the vid, looked like [ peyote]..a strong hallucinogen!

45 yrs ago i was crossing the Sahara desert. It takes 2weeks. After spending time one year in Africa, i drive back to Finland. That was my second Sahara trip.

I go to Tucson, Arizona every Thanksgiving for 2 weeks, and there it’s just like where you are. I stay at my daughters place where I help her build buildings, fences, and raised bed gardens❤
Have fun! Camping can be so much fun. We do not have desert in Wisconsin, just beautiful woods and lakes. I love fishing, so I can get our supper from the lake. You seem to enjoy life a lot.

The dessert was beautiful. I love all the different cacti. Have never been there but maybe one day. Thank you for sharing, especially the cacti that were blooming. I had a cactus at work on my desk. It was beautiful and it even bloomed. Oh, but the smell of the flower was just horrible. I couldn’t believe it. Something so pretty could smell so bad. Again, thank you for sharing.

And, by the way, bees don't hurt you unless you squash them, then they will sting you - and then the poor things die! So just avoid them!
But maybe you are talking about wasps, which sting you more readily, they hang around your food & drink, & don't die if they sting!!

Hi Karolina, I love your performances and how you are so kind to people and smiley, so I just subscribed and this is my first comment, so regarding this trip: I hope you are having lots of fun! There is nothing more exciting than a camping trip experience, specially when it envolves nature and fire/flashlight night stories. The desert is so extreme, hot and cold, that needs extra precaution. I imagine that with such heat is pretty easy to get a sunburn even with sunscreen. So when you get back, it's a good idea to search for the leaves of the plant 'Carpobrotus edulis' (I believe it's also an invasive species in California shores and beaches) and rub the juicy/jelly from inside the leaves on the sore/red skin to heal better and faster (you can also bring some leaves along cause they resist many days). Love to you all and stay safe!!!
