Im always think that it's mostly because making a good fight scene for a sword only user in naruto's shinobi world is really hard to shown. Like have you seen a sword user that possibly strong enough to go 1 on 1 with a strong character like jiraiya? Beside a guy like kisame or other guy that have already strong sword or other skill than swordmanship. Because sakumo was always only mention as a really strong cakra sword user, not like kisame that has superhuman strenght,cakra and samehada. I really can't explain it better but u should got my point

What immediately came to my mind was that while the pureblooded Inuzuka members use pureblooded bred ninken while Kakashi seems to use mixed dogbreeds, which kind of hints at him being a mix too. I do think that Kakashis father was named white fang because of the single short sword kinda resembles a fang though.

Kishimoto probably abandoned the idea of turning some of the ninja into dog Sages. The 3rd was originally drawn as an animal (dog) which is something that only happens to a Sage. Likewise Kisame was probably a shark Sage but kishi half assed it as to not turn everyone into a furry
tbf, it would loose some of its appeal if every animal could become a sage. also, idk if the idea of sages was even formalized by Kishimoto at the begining. Though a sage kakashi would be pretty bad ass.

I am actually a firm believer in this theory myself. His distance lightning release, which he used to measure Pain's defense, was also in the form of a dog.
The hatake clan is a somewhat renowned clan in Konoha. They were known for there white/silver hair and there white light saber which when swung would give off white chakra because of this they were known for there kenjutsu abilities. Possible members are jiraiya and they possibly descend from tobirama and known members are Sakumo hatake and kakashi hatake with both of them being strong even sakumo was said to be as strong as the three Sannin by minato

Maybe kiba just understands dogs language and they were showing us this as if it was regular words for the viewer during that particular filler. Yes I know akamaru usually just barks to communicate with Kiba, but kiba usually repeats whatever was barked.

Most summons can communicate with there summoner and others. Guys turtle, gamabunta and other toads, the ninken, hiruzenz summon, Manda.

If Kakashi’s mother was an Inuzuka, she would not necessarily have taken the name Hatake when marrying. In Japanese culture, the spouse generally adopts the last name of the more prestigious family. It’s not necessarily the husband’s family. If a guy marries into a more prestigious family, he’d want to adopt his wife’s name.
but like what if she wasn't in the main branch of the family would it really matter still?
We dont know how prestigious the hatake clan is. But we do know that kakashis father himself was pretty much a rockstar, he made the sanin and even hanzo himself look like chumps, so that alone already gives him legendary status above and beyond any clan save senju and uchiha.
The Hataki clan could have been reduced to a single member (kakashi's father) over the many wars, so while not as big as the Inuzuka, could have more prestigious legacy than them

When the sword is swung it glows white with chakra. His hair does happen to be white though. And he rocks a white piece on his shoulder that resembles minatos hokage cloak in a way. So just a couple more things to add to the white part😂 but the fang was most definitely the sword.

My interpretation is that Kakashi and his father were "wolves" and that's where Sakumo got his nickname from, and refer to Kakashi using his ninja hounds, he's the alpha that leads a pack of hounds.

Honestly, I always wondered about Kaka-Sensei’s suspected Inuzaka heritage because he obviously uses ninja hounds. Now that in itself isn’t much evidence but Kakashi is known to have an enhanced sense of smell, let Sakura tell it.

Fun fact about the surnames after marriage in Japan and also Naruto, the surname of the new family can be from any of the parties, regardless of their gender and just based on how prominant their original family is.
In a way that makes sense in naruto's case the uzumakis are a well respected clan while while his dad's family is never explained/unknown
@@juswavvy9634 The reason that Naruto took on the "Uzumaki" surname was because if he had the "Namikaze" surname plus the nine tails in him he'd be in great danger because one, he has the nine tails and two he would have the Namikaze surname.

I always assumed Kakashi had some connection, but I figured it was most likely through his mother, I think your theory about the senju spreading amongst the village also makes this more plausible over all at a whole. As the senju would have inspired other clans as well to encourage outside clan relationships. Thus once naruto's generation is around we have the first groups of powerful ninja are in their adulthoods with Narutos/Boruto's generation being littered with mixing of clans.
Maybe Kakashi was Born into the Hatakai clan but has the blood of the Inuzuka clan maybe his mom was a Inuzuka or something.

I think Hatake and Inuzuka clans could be related at some point.
We know that Ashura's descendants are Senju and Uzumaki clans, they're related, that's probably one of reasons why they were always so close. So who knows, maybe Hatakes and Inuzukas have same ancestors, that would give perfect sense to all similarities between them.
I really like the way NC doesn’t just pull theories out if his booty but he actually provides tangible evidence or at the least his guesses are commonsensical.

This has always been a favorite theory of mine from the first time we saw Kakashi summon his dogs. Love the content!
I don't think summoning dogs really means much. It's not like Summoning toads mean Naruto is related to Jiraiya, summoning Snakes means Sasuke is related to Orochimaru, and summoning slugs means Sakura is related to Tsunade. Kakashi has to summon his dogs, unlike the Inazuka who live with theirs and actively bring them wherever they go. There is probably other means of summoning and forming contracts that was never talked about. His father was certainly never known to at least use dogs. Sasuke can summon Garuda, anyone knows where the hell this bird came from? He only got it suddenly after fighting Itachi who I guess summons crows, but Garuda is a hawk unless we're lumping all birds into 1 category, in which case we should also have Naruto summon Hanzo's salamander since toads and Salamanders are amphibians. There's also the fact that Kakashi doesn't really resemble the Inazuka clan, and neither did his father. If he had more of his mothers genes then maybe we can point to Inazuka, but he looks exactly like his fathers son.
Kakashi is without a doubt my favorite character in Naruto and easily enters my top 5 in anime. What I have to wonder though, is there a Great Hound Sage? Could Kakashi or any other become a Dog/Hound/Wolf Sage?
I do enjoy your Hashirama is a Slug Sage theory as it would give all the Sanin a sage option, but I also like to think that all the major summons (dog, monkey, etc) have Sages kicking around somewhere.
Kakashi is talented enough that I wouldn't be surprised if he could pull off a perfect sage transformation. Though I doubt where he is now in Boruto, he'd see much of a need for it. Also I think it'd be so cool if there was a dog/wolf sage option.

There is a theory like I really I know it was revealed that kakashi wears his mask so nobody sees his nose bleeding while he reads his smuts but we see him wearing his mask even when he was 5 and I really hope he didn't know what smuts were back then so there comes theory that because of his incredible sense of smell the scents were too overwhelming for him so he wears a mask to muffle them out

The clan name is adopted by the female, so his mother would have become a hatake. It would have to be a wife since the child would have been brought into the Inozuka clan and the inozuka name would have been kept and passed down otherwise.
Much to the same how Minato learned the sealing jutsu of the Uzumaki clan (and become a god tier sealing master), Sakumo could have learned a lot from his wife and her clan and have been given that nickname based on the talents he learned (along with his short sword) from her.
We never do learn who she was and it would make more sense to have a closer relative than a distant one to justify the ninken and increased sensory abilities... just throwing that out there

One thing you missed..is kakashi’s long distance chidori release is a wolf*against Pain. In the first movie, Kakashi saves the snow princess with wolves. He also fucks the rival wolf snow ninja captain up, when he uses a snow wolf release and kakashi versus the snow wolf with chidori. Then, The snow captain releases a lot of wolves, but kakashi jumps above them. Kakashi’s anbu’s mask is also a dog with similar Kiba clan markings. Also, Kiba’s techniques are called *fang over fang. Maybe kishimoto was going to give kakashi sharp teeth for a big reveal, but changed his mind. Their grey hair is wolf-like, like Gerald the white wolf of Rivera

Um about Kakashi's disguise. It'd be obvious this guys a ninja if he didn't cover up his MASSIVE VISIBLE SCAR over his sharingan eye. It'd be a bit weird to have it just over his one eye so why not put it over both and they don't look like the Inuzuka tattoos/face paint. Also he could just really like dogs! I mean hell after Jiraiya realized his summons were toads, he became obsessed with them. As a ninja you can summon multiple animals via multiple contracts. But Kakashi might just love dogs like Jiraiya with toads. With two sentences I practically destroyed the theory held together with toothpicks and string.

It's a fun HC by the Kakashi fans that either his clan is like an inuzuka or instead of dogs, it's wolves. A variation is his mom is an inuzuka and he inherited actual fangs(this is before his mask reveal). Also how he was alone as a kid and could be raised by the dogs

What’s even further evidence for this is that one time when kiba was jealous of Naruto so he started trying to improve his strength and train hard, he went to KAKASHI for help over anyone else in the village. Why?? Because kakashi is of the same clan and could give kiba more techniques than he could obtain on his own.
So then why hasn't Kakashi not shown any Inuzuka abilities?
@@bw5020 because the only person that connected him to the inuzuka clan was his parents but they both are dead. Kakashi has lived as an orphan and was never apart of the clan to begin with, as he is an offshoot of the clan. He is still technically related to them but it’s not a direct descendant as someone like Kiba would be. The video highlights more points but I was just pointing something out.
