yes i'm finally glad to see a review. there is one other channel that has reviewed a couple of the levels. i have children who do level 4 and one who does level 5 and i believe we LOVE winning with Writing! we are almost half way through the first semester book, and everyone is thriving. after feeling defeated with other writing programs (IEW for one) this is simple enough and challenging enough for the children without being overwhelming! we will stay with winning with writing until it runs out!
That is so great! I love hearing that this is working for you! This is definitely a simple, no-nonsense program that converts the basics. Is a great option for people who need a writing program that covers the most important things.
Thank you for the review. I'm going to use this for a fourth grade student next year who has dyslexia. If a child can formulate a good sentence, they can write a paragraph. If they learn how to write a paragraph well, they can write a multi-paragraph essay. These little steps may seem easy, but they are a great foundation for better writing.
This has been on my radar but it's been hard to find anything about it! I have a 3rd grader now; I agree this looks like it may be a good fit for him in a year or two! Thank you for sharing!
We only do about a lesson or 2 a month in IEW, and we don’t try to “finish” all this in a year. So, it’s not a lot for us. If you were trying to do both as a full curriculum, it would be a lot, mostly because IEW is a lot :) This, in itself, is simple, but I think a pretty full curriculum that covers the basics.
I’ve never heard of this curriculum!!! We use our own notebooks and my twins write big at the moment and are teenagers!!! I don’t think 2011 is too old!!! We work at where my kids are!!! Thankfully in our state 6th grade is considered high school so as long as high school credits can be at different levels!!!
Have you ever used Winning With Writing with your children? What did you think?

So nice to hear your thoughts on this program. I have considered it. Do you feel like it was a lot doing both winning with writing and iew together?

Hi friend, question: do they ship fast
I didn't purchase from the company. I picked it off from a shelf at our parent partnership program... so I can't answer that question :)

That’s really cool that you have more options for high school levels.
