When you don't pay, the "juice" is running (interest on top of what you owe). If you don't pay that they shut you down (knee cap you) and you still have to pay even though they took your income source away. If you don't pay after that they put you in jail. Then when you get out you still have to pay all that plus the interest.

The problem is simply that Protestants endorse emotional fundamentalism based around Thomism, support various Catholic doctrines that aren't biblical, and have a fundamental misunderstanding about what even constitutes Christianity by endorsing 'solo Scriptura'. There is absolutely no way that people like myself (Eastern Orthodox) would ever endorse the insane politics of the Southern Baptists or the Catholics. Unless Protestant Christians become more intellectually honest about their own faith and more spiritually aware, the US will continue to decline since Protestant doctrine is so easy for politicians to manipulate to their advantage and the Protestants themselves are largely ignorant of the historical context for their faith.
