She did the "M.T.V UNPLUGGED 2.O" double disk which is one of my favorites...actually UNDERSTANDING everything she was speaking of. All of a sudden, they deliberately painted a picture of her being MENTALLY UNSTABLE....LAURYN WASN'T STUPID. It was meant for her to help create The Miseducation and that's it!! My son was in 2 movies he is now 24, he was going to be in a huge movie start of this year, but I always wondered why he suddenly told me he couldn't take time off his day job when he got offered huge movies, It boggled my mind like y he suddenly wasn't doing any parts he "chose" his day job over amazing movie rolls.....now it makes sense...my god...I've always been proud of my son, I am so proud now. But geez now it makes sense why he suddenly started having panic attacks? This makes me question all the “leading ladies” in Hollywood, whether they got roles because they were talented or whether they got roles because they were willing to sleep with movie producers. It seems like a Hollywood producer would give roles to women they wanted to sleep with and this was an understood thing in Hollywood and some women played the game and others didn’t. And some women married well in Hollywood and the producers had no choice but to respect them because their husbands were big Hollywood stars and they didn’t wanna stir anything up with them. Nicole Kidman has said that she was mostly left alone by producers because she was married to Tom Cruise at the time, and other women who married big names also shared the same sentiment. But if you were single and attractive in Hollywood, you weren’t safe from these back door deals, if you will. It’s a damn shame that this went on and everyone turned a blind eye to it.

angelique giusino - I hear ya. What gets me is the (pressuring aspect) against the (making a choice) factor. For example, being raped is one thing, where a persons choice is completely taken away, but being pressured is another thing, where they can choose to do it or not do it. Although, I can see where sometimes women would feel like they have no choice if they want to continue to work and there will only be work if they put out. Either way, it’s evil, but I think that while some were given no choice, others just chose to sleep with the producer to get the gig. It’s kinda like prostitution, only on a much bigger and “fancier” scale, so that’s what gets me. Not everyone who is saying they had no choice, actually didn’t have a choice. I believe many of them did have a choice but chose to sleep with these disgusting men for the reward of fame and money. Hollywood is just a putrid place.

The only reason Fox even gave it a chance is because Saban promised he could have Ron Wasserman compose the theme song for the X-Men animated series. I was a huge theatre kid in grade school and begged my mother to let me audition for Nickelodeon shows since they were based in Orlando back then. Girl,my mom,cousin and I were approached by a lady in target when I was like 12 13. She was super botched looking with bleach blonde hair look to be in her 40s. She said she was a talent agent for Disney channel and invited us to some open talent casting. I went and did the lil program and found I was pretty good. They came at us with some big number saying,we'd have to pay that to continue. I was under the impression all was free. Although my mother really didn't have it she said she'd work hard to pay if this is what I wanted. I definitely declined. I didnt want her working harder then she already was. Thank God i did. Sorry long story. Lol
I was supposed to be on Disney channel in all seriousness. I didn't have the couple of thousand for the flight and hotel for a week but maybe it was a blessing in disguise because alot of the Disney channel kids now are fucked up or drugged out. This was about 10 years ago when I was 16
