- Welcome back to another vlog. Come with me as I meet Shaun, the CEO of the Coconut Industry Board in Kingston for a tour of the jelly coconut processing factory and bakery. Hey guys! This is the last vlog of what I’m going to call Season 1 of Jamaica 😅 (because there is definitely going to be a new season coming soon). I just wanted to say that from the beginning of this journey, I never knew if what I had set out to do was going to work BUT regardless of if my channel grew or not I had set myself a goal to inspire at least ONE person to come to Jamaica through my content. You can probably tell by my reaction from when I met Emma, I was over the moon because in that moment I remembered why I started all of this in the first place 🤍.

In Guyana, we make something very similar to this and it's called "quinches". The only difference is that we mostly add grated cassava to the grated coconut and add the fillings also.
@@blessupjess busta is a cocunut hard candy made with ginger, sugar, grated coconut and molasses. Some people call it stagga back or buss mi jaw.
