- GST has been applicable for level 1 and 2 candidates for CFA.
- Right now there is no provision to enter your GST number, we are talking to the Institute to make a provision to enter the same.
- There is no other option, 18%GST shall be chargeable on the fees. Once you go to the checkout page 18% GST will be added to your course fees.

Dear All,
As you are aware, a goods and services tax (GST) was introduced by the India tax authorities which applies where Online Information and Database Access and Retrieval (OIDAR) services are provided. Level l and ll of the CFA® exam and CIPM exam fall within the definition of OIDAR services. In order to be compliant with the tax regulation, CFA Institute will collect GST at the statutory rate of 18% to new and continuing candidates who register to take level l or ll of the CFA exam or CIPM exam in India from 20 July 2021. All GST collected by CFA Institute is payable to the Government of India. No tax will be applicable on Level III exam.
On 20 July 2021, the program fees payable to CFA Institute as listed on the CFA Institute website program pages remain unchanged. We will clearly indicate all fees shown are net of any applicable local VAT, GST or any other sales tax payable by the candidate, including the India GST.
Where CFA Institute is required to collect GST and other taxes required by local authorities, candidates must add the full amount of tax payment to the exam fees during the payment/checkout process.

Sir, my maiden's name has changed after marriage, so as in my passport. But in my marks cards n certificate maiden name is different. Does this have a problem . Kindly verify my doubt
You will need to check this on CFA website, FAQs or e-mail them as this case is specific
It is best to clear your doubt as no passport = no exam
My graduation degree is for 3 years...My 3rd semester (2nd Year)started....so can I register for November 2022.....? I will be in my last year and less than 11 months before I graduate.....

Hi Sir, I have received a mail from cfa institute that my result is invalid as my surname in passport has my fathers name, but as per cfa website and all other I'd proof like aadharI only use my fathers initial
It's very disappointing after all the hard work.
Then why did they allow me to write the exam if there is mismatch. Even in preexam reminder they only mentioned that valid passport to be carried.
I did not imagine this surname issue in passport will cause so much of problem. Even amount will not be refunded or exam deferred
