Rabbi Mizrachi, you are one of the strongest speakers of Torah, yet many people still living like it's not for me I am a great person, and etc. No, we need to return and do Teshuvah recognizing that there's a Creator and we should hear and obey Him and fix our trades!

Hi, I’m a Muslim. I actually really love learning this, even though I know it’s not intended for me. I really respect this speaker and his knowledge. I just want to correct a couple mistakes when he mentioned Islam, a few times he used the word “Arabs” instead of Muslims. Most Muslims aren’t Arabs. I’m not arab. Arabs are a minority compared to the other millions of Muslim Asian & Africans etc. also, we don’t all come from abusive families where men beat their wives. It may happen in certain areas he knows of Palestine but no one in my family or even friend circle even knows of any personal Stories like this. In fact in my culture women sometimes yell at their husbands much more than the other way around. Please don’t generalize Muslims, I came here to learn from your perspective. I won’t learn Judaism from a Islamic scholar. So one cannot learn about Islam from a rabbi. We both have different focus of studies. If you are interested to know about what Islam actually preaches I reccomend Shaykh Hamza Yusuf lectures. (I am not inviting people to convert). I’m just speaking about curiosity. There’s nothing wrong with us people learning about each others faiths. Hope I didn’t upset anyone. I am inspired by how Jews prioritize their theological learning. ❤thanks

kol hakavod harav mizrachi... u are the greatest there ever was... u do not get even a mashahu of the respect esteem honor and yes the reverence u so richly deserve... u forgot though to mention one thing in your drasha so I will say it for u... if there were more rabbis like u speaking like you in the world today there would be far far less of the family and communal problems that you are addressing in this shiur... crying shame that this is the matzav... if I might make a suggestion... u should please follow this lecture up with one on fake rabbis rosh yeshivot and dare I say... fake "gedolim"... thank you so much for all that you do... I look forward to when this madness will be over and you might once again be in los angeles to teach us... bravo rabbi... never stop doing what you are doing... u are sadly a rare gem... there are not enough like u... u are one in a million in our orphaned generation... Hashem bless you always...

Thank goodness I'm not under that pheew. Shebat I mean. I think that's why God didn't make me Jewish.. I would have failed miserably. ( The smoking during Shebat) - I don't think I'd make a very good wife for a Jewish man who had to follow such things. However I respect those if that's their ways.

I love his lectures but some of this is silliness. That's ok. No one really knows the future or the afterlife. No one has lived to tell. But I'll still listen to his lectures.

    • @LessonsFromHeaven247

Hi. Before you make a comment like that study the facts. 1. Reincarnation. 2. millions of people come and say they had a clinical death 3. there is proof of afterlife in the torah in a few places. When billam said i wish my end will be like the end of the righteous jews and when Hashem promises to reward you IN YOUR END meaning afterlife. 4. G-d commands us not to speak to the dead why? bc they're still alive.... just some proofs that you should consider. Here's a lesson from Rabbi M on the subject ua-cam.com/video/Nq3dqqqNzkU/v-deo.html

Marriage comes about from biological necessity consistent with low maturation rates in human offspring, requiring child rearing support from both parents, length depending on climate extremes. Beyond rearing a child, partnering became an important economic tool.
Religious rituals as legal systems largely developed in alignment with agriculture and developing static communities where lineage became an important aspect of long term survivability.
In an age of prosperity, low child mortality rates and gender balances, marriage has lost it's impact in first world countries where consistent survivability has been established. Rules and commandments that bonded those systems as a response to harsh climates and developing community are left with valuable lessons about human history and strengths inherent with lineage and subsequent benefits.
A renaissance towards such benefits will likely emerge as a counter trend or the present prosperity ends forcing people back into traditional roles. During the global recession in 2008, people postponed their divorces for economic reasons, highlighting the survival nature of marriage.
It goes beyond religious lines but at the heart of the human species adapting to climate in a bid to complete it's physiological programming, procreation.
Anyhow, adding a different perspective to this entertaining and informative lecture.
