    This is so true. I became religious later in life and I'm watching my children suffer because of my stupidity and lack of knowledge. I don't know how to change it :(... HaShem have mercy on me......

    Baruch Hashem for you and Rabbi Yaron Reuven teaching about modesty. I had not really been concerned until a few months ago. I was simply uneducated. I grew up in an abusive home, was sexually abused for years, & chose to be promiscuous out of fear of physically being forced into anything again. That made me feel worthless, but I thought I could be worth something if I just changed. I stopped promiscuous actions, but still dressed immodestly. After finding Hashem & hearing a lecture about wigs not being kosher & how to dress, I suddenly knew what to do....and I felt beautiful then. It is really something to look at the bigger picture, that I came from an abusive, secular family who found Torah & happened to hear about modesty, & completely changed how I dress for the past 3 months. Learning the truth is amazing :)
    I contemplated whether I should upload this comment, but it may be something that someone else could benefit from, so I'll put it here.

    Thank you. I am happy you are doing what you do. I have noticed modesty and narcism in general and especially amongst modern women is a major problem today. Modesty, narcism and lewdness has become a sign of empowerment and sexual agency today for women. Using their body like a harlot is seen as a major right today for women in the West.

    This was absolutely amazing to listen to!! It's so interesting the different cultures and beliefs. One thing to me is for sure... modesty is fighting a losing battle. Ladies... we can do this!! AND still slay, as they say. We must teach AND model this to our daughters. As I look at my UA-cam pic, which I have been meaning to change to moment I clicked upload... smh. Changing pic today. We got this!!

    This opened my mind as to the boundaries of modesty. When is the appropriate age to introduce the concept of tznuis to my daughters?

    • @daughterofjerusalem8483
      @daughterofjerusalem8483 8 років тому +13

      We introduce this concept to our daughters at birth, largely by example.
      A daughter learns modesty from following the example of a righteous mother and by learning Torah and hearing about our righteous Mothers, Sara Rivkeh, Leah and Rachel

    Is it possible to give sources from the torah for tznius? The halacha of covering hair and covering knees..

    • @rachelgrabowiecki770
      @rachelgrabowiecki770 8 місяців тому

      why ...because you think the Rabbi made it up!! Its in many places in the Torah....just learn the parashat Ha shavua...learn about Sarah, Rivka, Rachel and Leah....full of Tzniyut...if you need a more recent example...What did bathing suits look like in the 1800s?
      Into the 1880s, women continued to wear bathing dresses, as seen in figures 3 and 4. These garments had high-necks, long-sleeves, and knee-length skirts..now we are speaking about bathing suits!!!! that will tell you how decent the clothing was!! you do not need sources, you need to be introspective, like all of us !!!

    Rabbi mizrahi- can a woman who wears mitpachat and dark colored modest clothes wear heavier makeup? Not red lips or bright colors, but nicely done makeup using neutral colors.

    Thank you Rabbi. I am so glad I am Catholic raised and have always been modest and classy. Ladies please learn modesty and dress classy as it command respect and gentle treatment. Sex is overrated in the West and only sells to dusty men not high quality provider. I am 33 and have always embrace Jacqueline Kennedy’s intelligence, grace and classiness.

    Do you know why nun-righteous peoples or bad peoples don't go to Haven but to Gehanom? Here is why:- It's becouse if bad peoples can go to Haven like the good people's do, Haven will be just like earth🌍 So it will not be called Haven no more. Haven will be no more Haven after that. So look Hashem is not bad to only gather good peoples in Haven & gather the bad peoples in Gehanom. Hashem is even doing better by doing that okay. Remember✍️.

    מזווגים לאדם ע״פ מעשיו בזיווג שני. אבל בזיווג ראשון זה נקבע כבר ארבעים יום לפני יצירת הוולד. ככה הגמרא אומרת שם.

    I agree
    I did not in anyways shape or form raised my children to be not modest
    And i myself set a good example
    If they later on in life choose to be the opposite of how we raise them
    Then ....plz the door is open להיתראות שלום
    For me and my house we will served בורה עולם
    I will not feed or support a hozpha daughter
