#MoPitney #FarmersDaughter #MerleHaggard - Розваги
I was first introduced to Mo, on RFD TV Country Circle. He sang, "Don't you ever get tired of hurting me." Wow, I stopped and stood slack jawed. I became an immediate fan of his voice, demeanor and style.
Mo Pitney, has got it!
When Mo he leaves you with a video in your head that just keeps playing over and over.
Smooooth and sweet" give mo a grammy " I love him and his little family God Bless y'all future
Wow. I heard Merle in his voice too. In his cover of Borrowed Angel I could hear a touch of Dwight Yokum. This young man has so much tallent.
yes yes yes , little yokum in there, no doubt
I like to her him sing this song, but he is dragging it out to long, just speed it up a little. Love Mo.
100 % agreed that Mo.is so.singing right into my almost 74 years old heart
Brilliant version of Farmers Daughter I have ever heard Mo is someone special I listen to Mo everyday I just want to keep hearing more and more
you know Merle was one hell of an impressionist, I can see him listening to Mo sing this with one eyebrow cocked up and the slightest of smiles on his face
So wonderful to hear a new country artist who is doing classic country instead of cross over music, keep them coming Mo. I think I know "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes"
I just can't wait to see your reactions every day. You put a smile on my face. A great boost to my day.
Love Mo!!! Great song!! Having daughters and living on a small ranch my husband had to give his baby away to a guy who knew nothing about hunting, fishin, riding, just nothin, was so hard for him. She was 18 almost 19 and had her own job, buying her own car, he tried telling her she could only see him on Sat evenings. He just knew what was coming and had to fight it. I was not supportive of him in the fight. I helped my daughter sneak out to see him. He is an AWESOME son-in-law. They've been married 20 years.
@Teresia Diane Great family story right there---thanks for sharing that! And thank you for the sweet words--I'm glad I'm doing something that puts a smile on your face!!
Hey, Teresia nice story, my experience is a little different. My one & only daughter didn't have a serious boyfriend untill her JR of high school. He was from a small town 20 miles away & being from small towns, you here things, I just knew this guy was a player. I did what I could ( except hit her upside the head with a brick ) jokes, to discourage her. IT didn't work she graduated& ran off to be with him in 29 palms Cali because he joined the Marines. A yr later, her relationship in taters& pregnant I had to go get her. 22 yrs later her daughter is a confident, Intel, go- getter who's in Alaska right working on a Salmon boat, to pay off her student loans before going to grad school. Her and her mom are apples in my eyes!
Wow. Mo is so talented! I love love love this song. He is so pure and authentic.
Oh my goodness Don,thank you so much.
I love this.
This is one of those that touches my heart to the core.
Pure country.
Pure love that a father has for his daughter, who he raised alone.
Mo has just got that certain voice that brings a song to life.
Again,thank you Don.
I sure appreciate you.
@Karen Partin You're welcome!! And I see the song the same way you do, but it clearly goes waaaay deep into your heart. Glad you liked it, and thank you for the sweet words. :-)
@Karen Partin I love listening to Moe!! Borrowed Angel is prob my favorite song Moe sings. DON knows how to describe lyrics. This is a God given talent from the heart. Have a blessed day.
Love me some Mo! and Mo and Mo... don't ever say No Mo.
@The Couch Trip Word up, Kentucky boy!!
So true!! In my opinion, Mo should be all over country radio as well as dominating the awards shows!
Mo your Style Singing Country Music Mo you are Brilliant Mo I rate you Singing this Song a 10 you are Special
Great song! Love Mo Pitney so much, he is going to fill there shoes! Keeping the music real. Introducing him to my grandkids and anyone that appreciates country music!
Just got to know "mo pitney, in the last year & what an amazing voice. I love the song 🎵 "aren't u tired of hurting me". Other songs i heard were good too.
Love it! Thanks for sharing.
Mo can sing anything he is special when he sings you can feel the whole song all the way through each and every song he sings love to see him and meet him I would tell him how great he is he reaches out to people when he sings he gives so much happiness and enjoyment when he sings everyday I listen to all of his songs
Now THIS is country music! Not that crap they're playin' on the radio out there today.
This song reminds me of my dad he raised 5 girls no boy all under 10 years of age with a little help from grandma.my older sister got married and he cried like a baby and as far as he was concerned no man was good enough for his girls he didn't live long after my baby sister turn 20 and all he ever said was he wanted to see us grown.
@sandy floyd That's a heckuva man right there. Your father had his hands full but sounds like he managed to make you all feel loved. I've learned along life's path, mostly from women telling me, that a girl needs a strong man in her life, and if it's her father that's the best way it could be.
@@RockN2Country That he did and we thank God everyday. The loss of both of them mom passed away when i was7 and dad when I was 25 it was vary hard but we made it in the end and we know thay are proud of us girls.
I get chills every time I listen to him.
Wow! I love Merle, and I also love how Mo sings this... gorgeous!!
Give it a 10, Don. It deserves it.😻
His rendition of this was best on the Merle Haggard tribute show
I totally agree! I just love how he did it on the tribute. I just found it a few days ago and can't stop listening to it! It's like he's channelling Merle when he's singing!
Mo and family so talented.
Mo has an amazing voice! Love him!
My gosh this young man is amazing!! I've always been partial to Merle this is what I grew up on (gospel also). Don I absolutely love this channel. LOVE is all I knew growing up and my mother passed away when I was 12 she was 38, and my dad when I was 5 but I know the yrs I had with them were special and my momma LOVED like no other. God Bless everyone. (I cried!) 😌
I just love this guy!!! When are we going to hear him on the radio and tv? Are they intimidated by him!!!. Go Mo!
Thank you . I had given up with newer country quite a few years ago but your showing me there some good ones out there.
His voice is magical.
I think Merle and Willie had a child!!!!😂😂
😂😂 Moe's awesome!!
Best line I ever heard, lmaso
You need to listen to him sing Who's gonna fill their shoes he is the best
Great job mo love it
Theola
A Maine lobster fishing won my daughters hand and he is a good son in law.
Mo is the best. Love his voice. Wish he would make an album of the true oldies of country music …ie Borrowed Angel Eric.
Mo you are great. I love to here you sing.
I was a few years out of high school when Merle sang this song. Merle was always one of my favorites and had a great stretch of songs even in the 80's which was late in his career. Never once did Merle veer away from tradition country music, and like George Strait kicked ass over these singers doing a switch to contemporary, and now Pop country. Very good analysis of this song, and this ole country boy will come right out and say, Mo does it as good or better than Merle, exceeding the expressions, and feeling Merle had to offer. Country music needs a few to stay traditional or it'll all go to pop country, Mo is the answer to replacing George Strait, Merle Haggard, and we need a few more like Mo to keep it country.
I love this kid.
Love this gifted young man ❤
Mo is the future of traditional country music. You might want to give a listen to "Just a Dog". You will like it.
Great song performed beautifully.
If you listen to it on the Merle Haggard tribute, he even notches it up. This boy is great.
I think Mo has the perfect voice to do some Don Williams covers. It would be cool to see his material introduced to a whole new generation!
@David Emswiler Good call on the Don Williams covers---I can totally see that.
He just sang Don Williams, "AIN'T IT AMAZING" on July 6th. It was just posted 4 mins ago on UA-cam. He has also sung "IF HOLLYWOOD DON'T NEED YOU, I STILL DO"
@@momusicfan Very cool...thanks for the heads up! I'll go check them out.
He covered Amanda by Don Williams the man can sing he should do a album with nothing but older country music 🎶
@@sandyfloyd9632 agree...REAL COUNTRY MUSIC.
I love the way Mo Pitney sings farmers Daughter
This kid knows how to sing. I did meet Mo on your channel.
I've always loved this song--and I have to say that I am partial to Merle's version even though Pitney does it great justice.
Some people your just thankful they’re alive. masterful artistry. Thank you.
Great cover! Loved it !
On my wife’s phone this is really country good voice good picking story tellin good stuff
Like Merle Mo has the ability to make it seem like he wrote the songs he sings
Have you heard merles son Ben haggard sing his dad's songs? I saw him in concert with his brother Noel and Kris kristopherson. Ben sounds a lot like merle. Merle is one of my all time favea
@labchic97 Oh yes, I've reacted to at least one of Ben and Noel's duets, and loved it. I may get to some more down the line, too. And welcome to the channel!!
Awesome...
Wow! He sounds just like Merle Haggard awesome Mo and I hear Gene Watson's voice as well. I have never heard anyone sing like Merle before.
If you think this version is good, you must see the Country Road TV version that he did for the Memorial concert for Merle. It will blow you away. I haven't been able to find it on UA-cam for a long time though.
LOVE that couch behind him! He's good too 😊👍
@Kay Cee LOL about the couch!!!
South Carolina says. Hi Mo
Mike Daune has a FB page called Mo Pitney Country. There's a video where Mo does this in the CFR tribute to Merle- with all the original instruments/ arrangements and musicians. It is heaven!! You should definitely listen.
He also has one there of Mo doing " That's Why I Sing This Way".
They're better quality than any of these UA-cam videos.
be checking that out for sure
Could feel Dad's misery and resignation.
I thought I was pretty familiar with Merle's catalog, but I never heard him do this one. The funny thing is that you can hear how Merle would sound as you listen to Mo sing it. Now I've got to find it as done by Merle.
You need to find Merle's box collection Down Every Road this song is on this.
Very good Moe
I would like to here Mo sing Conway Twittys song It's Only Make Believe... I think he would nail it
I would love it as well, especially with the same arrangement!!!
I want him to sing Hello Darlin
Don i love you show.
Rodney Atkins also does a song a called Farmer's Daughter.
Love Mo Pitney!!!! Does he have any albums?
@rupert532 Word is that he recorded an album last year, but for some reason its release has been held up. Not sure about all that, but the hope is that it gets released soon. And BTW, welcome aboard the channel!
React to Ruston Kelly, a great songwriter. Good songs for those unfamiliar are "Mockingbird" and "Faceplant"
I love Mo’s version of this song ... what a voice & performance! GO MO!!
I'm a Farmers Daughter
I do wish curb records would release his new album it's been done for a few months now just no release date yet.on his fan page thay got a email address where you can write and complain about it not being released but still nothing.
@sandy floyd I think the anticipation for the album is huge, so when it's released all will be forgiven if it's got a more traditional sound. If it goes toward the pop end, more than a few folks will be disappointed. I think he's gonna make a lot of folks happy---just a guess.
@@RockN2Country he is already doing a few of the songs at his concerts and fans are uploading them to his page. His style is still the same traditional country.it just sad with so many people wanting it .
You should do a review of anything by Zephaniah Ohora.
What kind of guitar does he play? I think I have the same one but mine don't sound like that, thinkin mine must be defective, lol
@joyce henderson When in doubt, always blame the equipment!! Ha!!
@@RockN2Country yeah I know, my greatest hope is that it never becomes a job for Mo , he's just too natural to have to force it
9.2
I enjoy listening to you. But you don't know your old country
Another Keith Whitley

I like Mo but Jesus Christ what a boring song!!!
please do THINGS ARENT FUNNY ANYMORE for me
This is perfect poetry! It has so much meaning, you don't know how wrong you are!
Not meaning to offend anyone, but if i want to listen to a Merle Haggard song, i will listen to the original. The same with any song. I will listen to the original, not some cheap knockoff by a nobody that i have heard of.
Then WHY did you even click on this video? Unless, of course, you actually did listen to Mo perform the song... in which case your comment is dishonest. If you bothered to click and then didn't listen then you simply came here to be a troll who thought he had something relevant to inject into the mix.
Most of the songs you hear, by the way, are someone else's songs unless the performer wrote the song.
At some point in your life you had never heard of Merle Haggard... or Willie Nelson... or any other singer. If someone desires to just not listen to an artist because they've never heard of them or that the artist might be some "cheap knockoff" then they would simply being demonstrating their own closed mindedness or even ignorance. Mo Pitney as far from being a "cheap knockoff" but I imagine you listened and already know that.
I would hate to know that I was going through life with such a negative attitude as you have toward others.
Meh. But he has the sound of a commercial success. I think he's hit the formula points and the ladies are going to like this guy. I think he milks every note and sings slow to get his swoopy notes in and as much impact as he can. it's not something I'll listen to but I do appreciate the vintage sound and no click tracks!
Changing Merle's lyrics takes away any credibility and his guitar playing isn't as refined and beautiful as you make it out to be.
I dont like it
