I plan on filing a simple design patent. Do I need a drafter to draft out the patent? Or could I use a simple top, right, front and left view image?

What if you used other ideas for raw material to make a new product? Like: Velcro and zipper with soft polyurethane foam?

Hi guys. I'm from the UK and I'm trying to create a new brand of wrestling figures. I have a brand name that isn't used anywhere, characters/personas that are "inspired" but not copying in anyway, character names and Logo designs. How do I go about getting a copyright on all of this?
    Thanks.

I have faced many companies, that have told me "thanks for your interest in our products, but we depend on our creative staff to come up with ideas" It's a real drag.

I literally need to know who to reach out to about a nightclub design that would absolutely be necessary for large social gatherings in an interactive and safe way. I must quickly patent the ideal or the design before I can share publicly. WHO DO I NEED TO SPEAK WITH? I have been a creative director and choreographer for mega nightlife in Las Vegas and other places for over 13 years. HELP

While searching companies to submit our copyrighted design, we have noticed several who state that all unsolicited submissions become property of that company. Will this apply to a design that is copyrighted? Thank you for the help.

Hi Paul. You should assume that anything you sign applies to you. Please note we offer business advice not legal, so you may want to consult an attorney. You can also ask the company to clarify its position. Thanks for watching.

Hi Stephen and Andrew, Many companies I contact seem to be obsessed with patents but I've noticed that many of the products they sell on store shelves have been around forever and they are making millions on these unpatentable products. Why is it then that they are so rigid about patents with new ideas ? example you go to walmart, target and sears and there's a million hammers and they are still making money with these products. Don't get their thinking, why bother with patents at all and just take some of these great ideas and trial test them in short painless trials ... makes more sense to me.

They haven't actually embraced open innovation!

In other videos they explain how these companies are not inventor friendly. Stay clear and find someone who is friendly. They are everywhere.
