Hi there, enjoyed the video. Helped clear up several questions I had. Also I am interested in the book “ escaping the gray” Keep up the good work Thanks
Hi, I am thinking of a scenario of agreement, when you have a patent from USPTO, you sign a agreement with a licensee, what is the normal terms for the licensee to sell the goods outside USA? Which you and licensee both don't have a patent. thanks
I think he was, and in general coaches who take up-front fees with no guarantees. If their business model was based on taking a percentage of inventor's royalties they would be aligned with their interests and they would be honest about whether a hopeful inventor's idea had legs. You should read Warren's book, Inventor Confidential, it's a goldmine and he is very pro-inventor
@ACommonPlace you couldn't be more wrong. The reason why iR don't take a percentage is because they don't want to be associated with these scam promotion companies that usually do. Does your idea have legs? Guess what, they teach you how to find that out. You really can't say anything bad about iR as their students license products left and right every week. IR teaches you how to save money and how to do this for yourself. This Warren guy, pathetic...
Sounds like it but he's also likely biased. I'd be a cautious consumer here, their videos are free and very informative, good with sell sheets, submitting a provisional patent application online isn't practical, I'd just send it in via snail mail.
Thank you John & Warren, very interesting!
I spoke with Warren a couple of months ago and he is the real deal! Thank you gentlemen for this informative info!!
