Thank you sir. Men like you make me proud to be a young American in this country
Hershey’s friend Joe Annello was my neighbor. He was a great example for our community, me, and my kids.
Wow. That’s an amazing story. I think the part about being a POW must have been the worst. Thanks for your service sir.
He’s truly an amazing person
I was lucky enough to meet him when i was 17. Absolutely extraordinary man
Thank you for your service and story Mr. Miyamura, you deserve that Medal of Honor. Rip🙏
I've just read Mr. Miyamura's Medal Of Honor citation and it was pretty jaw dropping stuff. He was an incredibly courageous man. Sad to hear he recently passed away. I hope he had the happy life that he deserved. Rest in peace.
What a hero and great man
American hero right there. Rest easy sir.
What a exemplary American. God Bless this man.
You will wear the well, your honor has been displayed in combat. Thank you for my freedom.
You have went through so much . You are a true hero and every American owes you and every soldier that has served and those that gave their lives for us to wake up every morning free . God Bless you and your family.
He was an amazing man who served the United States throughout his entire life, and left a great legacy with his family.
A real American hero !!!! A dying breed
Thank you sir for your service to your country we are so blessed by your faithfulness.
Thank you Hiroshi for your service. You are unappreciated sir. God bless you.
He is what you call a true American hero, love it !!!!!
I am speechless. No words of mine can ever express the love and gratitude I feel towards men like this, and this Great U.S.A. 🇺🇸 I have tears welling up as I am typing this.
People who burn the flag, and disrespect this country, our flag, and these men bring shame and dishonor on themselves and their whole family.
🎶 I'm Proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free. And I can't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And Id GLADLY stand up next to you to defend her still today. There ain't no doubt I love this land, GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎶
Oh really Josh. This man's family was held in an american concentration camp during ww2 and had all their property stolen, often by neighbours. And still he was prepared to fight for the country. I think sometimes it is entirely appropriate to burn a flag when the country fails to protect it's own citizens. Let me guess, you are white. Thought so.
@@jamesdiaz793 1st, what does my skin color have anything to do with anything? How very racist of you.
2nd, this man is a hero, and he fought for the flag and the country it represents. Being a patriot is having love and loyalty for your country, not the government. It is never "appropriate" to burn the American flag, and if you think it is... well this is America and you have the right to be a shameful dishonorable piece of shyt if you choose.
👍❤️👍 Yes, sir, I thank you for sharing your time. The most precious gift we have.
We love you Hershey. You are Americas Hero. God bless your soul.
A humble and brave man who served his country well. RIP
I salute this hero.
May God bless you sir.
Americans like this should be honored and celebrated in every way, any way possible. Listen to him carefully: he identifies as an “American” over and over again. That is so meaningful and so incredibly impressive.
What he states and what he did and what he became and how he dealt with it is so meaningful and is so remarkable.
This is American Exceptionalism at it’s best.
Proud to be a fellow American.
Hershey is an absolute unit of a man. God bless him forever
He is the greatest of the great yet remains so humble. God bless him in Heaven!
Thank you for your service 🙏❤
Rest in Peace sir and thank you for sharing; wherever your soul is.
RIP Hersey, thank you for all you have done for your country, and your community.
Thank you sir for your amazing heroism. And your story.
God bless this great American. Condolences to his family and gratitude for the lives of his soldiers that he cared for and their descendants.
Dude is hard as nails. America is not perfect and we’ve had some dark and disappointing moments in history. But there is no other country that is as diverse and successful at overcoming our adversity like ours.
Thankyou For Your Service
Such a great story. Thank you for preserving this.
Thank you for your service sir. We're here because of you!
I wish I were as good an American as this fine gentleman. What a warrior, what a citizen, what a gentleman.
Very humble man.
Thank you sir!
