Well as a person who had a prickly baby for a while (his name was Coco). I can confirm, when he ran in his wheel, he would poop and it’d be covered in it the next morning. He never did eat poop and rub it on himself however, he did used to lick me like crazy and then do the saliva thing. If I’m not mistaken, it’s to familiarize themselves with the scent. Well as a person who had a prickly baby for a while (his name was Coco). I can confirm, when he ran in his wheel, he would poop and it’d be covered in it the next morning. He never did eat poop and rub it on himself however, he did used to lick me like crazy and then do the saliva thing. If I’m not mistaken, it’s to familiarize themselves with the scent.
He also had to be put down because of a huge cancer tumor shortly after turning 3. So kudos to you Scientifically Accurate. You win. (RIP Coco you beautiful spoiled bean ❤️❤️❤️)
