In this video I'm flipping through the recent publication From the Desk of CES, a collection of blackbook concept illustrations by reknowned New York graffiti writer CES. This book was generously gifted to me by ERA1 along with a whole load of art supplies. Big ups mate!

No need to rush and I’d appreciate it being over a longer period of time but more in depth. 🤓There’s no stopping there as you could teach us ‘eyes’, ‘mouths’, ‘feet/shoes’ etc 🤓Also I’d be interested in seeing you replicate viewers works showcasing your skills and your pen collection 😉I appreciate you like most of us are limited when it comes to time but if my suggestions would become too time consuming maybe just start a new scrap book and let us watch you fill it page by page with whatever you feel like 👌🏾😎

Loving this style... Only up to the raspberries, and that one is super subtle. If didn't know you wouldn't clock the 3 letters in that berry arrangement.

I love a classic blackbook of course, but also got couple shelves full of other illustration type art, comic artists like Pat Mills, Kevin O'Neill, arcade marquee arts.. I definitely can appreciate the skill here and as you said "clever" is what i kept saying to myself too looking at a lot of these. Very clever and creative execution. Those hands, the roads, very subtle slipping his letters into the design.

Yes mate, definitely worth adding to the collection. Nice shout for the partnership of Mills and O'Neill too. I was a big fan of 2000AD and it's heavily influenced me. Love comic illustration.
