Even though it’s coming back in style I honestly miss 90’s and early 00’s custom Mini Trucks I’m talking tribal graphics, tribal flames, airbrushing, the dancing bed, crazy amount of speakers in the bed, chopping the roof off, tweed and vinyl was ur go to interior material, and billet parts where everywhere

regarding wagons we're still around it's just a deep niche. I have two vw wagons so the niche is even deeper being in the vw/audi realm. We have Long Roof Rally in Vermont, Avantoberfest in multiple locations, wagon meet during a eurotripper event, and I'm a host for the official unofficial mk7 wagon cruise during that event in the mountains of north Georgia, to name a few wagon things. Which, hot take, I'll say the route we take, Georgia Dragon (Suches Loop), is even more fun than Tail of the Dragon imo and running it with 10-15 mk7 wagons and some avants is an awesome thing to see. I rarely see these cars other than trips to Vermont as it seems they bought all the stock in wagons apparently.
Most of these events are word of mouth so you only really hear it from fellow wagon owners.
Makes me happy to hear people miss streetable drag cars. I’m starting on my foxbody soon.

3rd Gen Eclipse is the most underrated platform. They helped the Evo guys out a lot. Kia Optima swap the head or Evo swap and turbo it. The 3rd Gen’s are only held back by the owners and forums. Learned a lot about my build on my other car from the 3g guys.
Listened to it on Spotify but you know I gotta throw it on the tube to get that real hangout feel

do you guys think manufacturers are trying to reignite the love for wagons in the US with higher class wagons? the last budget wagons ended in 2019 with the axeing of the golf sportwagen/alltrack and the buick regal tourx. We're left with oversized subaru "wagons" which we won't count. So now we only have $45k+ wagons of which most of the lineup is closer to the $70k range with the audi rs6 avant and allroads, volvos, porsches, mercedes, and rumors of the bmw m3 touring and maybe rs4 avant coming to the states.
Is this (mostly germany's) last fight to create a love for wagons here? I foresee VW bringing a wagon back in the form of an EV when they have a refined product to sell us at a decent price

Dakota, your logic is flawed, gas will be even more expensive because itll be rare, therefore gas vehicles will not make a comeback, but it was still fun to listen to! 😂
