BMW biedt voor 100 euro per jaar een internetsysteem in je auto. Daarmee worden hulpdiensten gealarmeerd, kun je online informatie opzoeken en je personal assistent bellen.

I just received a letter from BMW (dated April 2nd, 2012) that i have to pay 250 Euro per year for connected drive after having used it for 6 months. Even though their website still states that for owners of a Navigation System Professional the first 3 years (equalling 36 months) stay free of charge.
I admit that nowadays Smartphones and Tabletcomputers are certainly a threat for communication technology built into the car.
