This makes me so happy! I've been a fan of looxi for so long & really think they're a great option for those who love a semi sheer colorful shifty sparkly shade but maybe don't have a budget to buy shades that are over a certain price point. I recently swatched the majority of my looxi collection & one shade I left out was joker even though I personally love it! It's actually similar to tm atomic division! It's just less sparkly & a little less shifty but they're very similar! Ty so much for doing this marte! 🥹🫶
Absolutely! They're very affordable but still very worth the money you spend on them, and probably more too. So glad I finally got to try Looxi again! I need to check out your swatches and see if I need to add some to my wishlist 🤭

I was hesitant to buy from Looxi because of mixed reviews I’ve seen over the years. They had a sale recently and I finally caved, I tried to pick out shadows I remembered Katherine B Beauty, Hot Vegan Hannah and Regina’s Makeup Stash talking about. I liked the shadows so much that I placed another order because the sale was still going on, so I now own 31 of their shadows 😂. I see we have several of the same shades too 😊
I also saw a lot of other swatches videos of Looxi and was skeptical at first, but I went ahead and bought around 20 different shades since they were on sale. I ended liking mine a lot even if it doesn't swatch like the pictures, most of them swatched a different color than the pictures and I don't mind it at all 😅 it still turned out pretty in its own ways
Love that you gave looxi another try! Your video on them helped me to pick some up a few years ago so thank you 😊 It is great how they keep them so cheap and it's worth mentioning that they've reformulated their old shadows a bit. My dark side of the moon is a bit more sheer than yours
I thought that might've been the case. The one I saw swatched was so sheer, but mine swatched better, I think. Also, my earlier ones from the butterfly collection are very sheer, but I heard they're better now. It's honestly incredible that they keep their price this low. I've talked to the owner before, and she is SO nice. It's impressive that they're able to not just stay in business but also seemingly thrive without doing any social media. I do miss the time when they were active, though.
@MartesMakeup I didn't know they were into social media, they've been pretty silent for years then! And it sucks cause I think they could be more popular if they sent PR before their launch so we could see what we're getting with more reliable swatches

I caved and ordered from Looxi during the weekend. They launched some new shades. My last order from them was in 2019,right when they released the Butterfly kisses, because I remember getting the bundle and being extremely disappointed since half of the shades weren't good.
Thats the same that happened with me, haven't tried them since that! The new ones looked gorgeous, particularly the green one 😍 if only I could order without a forwarding company I'd already have the new ones on the way too 🥲
Yeah same. I always use a forwarding company with Looxi, I don't think they ever shipped to my country lol. But hopefully it will be worth it. Thanks for the swatches and comparisons, so helpful. Really glad I picked up Joker.😆
Thank you for the swatches! I like Looxi shadows but I hate that the swatches are so digitally altered it's impossible to tell what anything will actually look like. Also, you have a beautiful speaking voice.
I recently dropped two palettes of eyeshadows mostly from looxi and shine by sd. I was so mad and immediately had to go and repurchase all of the shadows at one time. Lolol so glad the ones i lost were still available!

Thank you for all the swatches. I was the same, stopped buying from them when my last order was not as expected. And then I heard all the complaints when they moved the production to a factory. And recently I started eyeing their website again. But I live in The Netherlands 😢. I was thinking of trying a forwarding service as well. Were you satisfied? Which one did you use, if I may ask?
@bjootieboob8303 Sorry for the late reply! For all of the packages, I spent a little less than 300euro for shipping and taxes. More than half of it was prepaid taxes. To have them prepaid saves a little, and especially the fact that the orders were combined saved me 15eur per brand/package. Shipping each package would've been 20-30usd each package, too. So i don't know if I saved a lot, especially since they took a 30dollar fee for flammable/dangerous goods (the damn paint pens). 😒 But since several of these brands don't ship to Europe, I was all in all satisfied. But it's very hard to estimate what you have to pay!

I'm also very pleasantly surprised with mine and have used them to work the past week. They're perfect for that, as they're neutral enough.
