- How to build a crazy little thing called “Hetty” (8’ seaflea) from scratch without experience?
This is the story of an experiment on how to keep the right attitude and handle traps.
We would be proud if we could inspire you. And like to...
Thank you ThierryCrolla for inspiration:

Thank you for keeping the gumption up and making it possible:
Chris from Muskoka Seaflea for drawings & support; Hjertmans for boat parts; MarineEngine for motor parts.
Viky, Duncan, LongBow, Ken, Littleboat, jculps & Jrs for the contribution in the forum.
Jonas Bilberg for making the best video out of the material we recorded.
Special thank and greetings to “Charlys Silence” for music powering and the kind allowance for the soundtrack!

Nice !!!
Great!!
Здравствуйте .почему у вас отключения комментарии ??? Увидел у вас на двери надпись JAWA и CZ . Сердце защитило. Удачи вам . Я раньше тоже до 1988г занимался водномоторным спортом. SA - 250 , SB - 350 , OBN - 350.
Great job I have the same plans I have a couple of questions if you don't mind on the bottom at the front how wide is the slit it's on the plans but I can't read it also the metal pieces that hold the front shape that drawing is missing thanks for sharing
Thank you for the feedback! I bought the full size (1:1) plan from Muskoka Seaflea which made the building much easier.

As you can see on the linked picture, the answer is 3 3/8". It was important to follow the wide curve (not a strait line) for the slit to get the nice form of the hull.
We used a metal stripe 10 x 1 ". As you see was one of our mistakes (Gumption trap #1) to join the two half's too tight as V and not as butt joint -----.
Thank you for sharing I appreciate the help I have tried to contact seaflea.but everytime I go to the site it says it's corrupted with a virus I have called and email but haven't heard back yet great job with your boat and with the help

Really good little video and a great build for youngsters. Good job !!
Thank you for your nice feedback. We are still improving her. This year we lifted the motors position and reached over 21 knots. And there is still potential and a lot of fun for next years. If you want to build your own, just give me a sign.

Hi Alex, welcome to the club. I will check and come back. Did you already joined the community of Seafleas? muskokaseaflea.ca/bb/index.php
@@tonweya3615 I tried but everytime I go to the site I get this message

What is the white paste at the 2:43 mark?
That's epoxy filler for better finish before painting. 2:48 you see it after sanding.
Hej! Tätade du hela skrovet med väv och epoxi?
Hej Johan, hela skrovet fick 2 lager epoxi (West system). Alla kanterna i fartrikning blev förstärkt med väv (02:37) på både över- och undersidan. Övriga kanterna och stos med epoxispackel. Supertät och robust utan att det blev för tung.
