- In this video I will be sthowing you the fully working valve tracer kit by RadioElec with the additional grid power supply and filament supply. I will also be showing you a valve socket box and testing a 12AT7 pre amplifier tube.
RadioElec supplied the main board kit, grid power supply kit and filament heater supply to me free of charge. I supplied the rest of the components and there were no conditions made by RadioElec in relation to the contents of the video. I have bought this kit for my own use plus the valve tester and RadioElec decided to help me out with my first proper series of videos.

Very, very nice! Well done.
Thanks
Make sure you subscribe. The only change has been to add an English version but I do have a pre release alpha version of a new tracer package that is far more sophisticated and still compatible.
I ofert how betatester jiji,
If this are disponible, o for probe, please you send to me,
Or for new changes you can susurred to me :-)

Finding a badly balanced tube on your first test shows how useful the tester can be.
Yes and I tested it on my own tracer and tester with the same result.
Curious - is it becoming common for British folks to use "tube" rather than "valve"? Or is it a personal preference to favor one or the other these days?
It's virtually interchangeable to be honest. I use either.
