Not only are you a great trader, you are a seriously good video editor!! I’ve been so low and low on motivation for the past few years now and I hope I find something that suits me career wise. I’ve always found betting intriguing and fun, I love sports and was obsessed with numbers in my teens. I’m not long out of a uni degree that I haven’t pursued due to losing passion in the subject, maybe trading could be something for me but need to get over this hump. Thanks for the video, it really got me thinking!
Fair play to you, 8 years service is massive in the army and especially at that time, I've served in the navy for 10 years now and I think if I ever left I could be looking at the same situation, I don't know what the outside world is really like and I think I could struggle but having watched this and enjoy betting it could be something I could seriously put my mind to, thanks for the massive insight of where you have been and where you are now good luck with all your future and keep creating this great content I really enjoy watching. Ive been following you for the best part of tens years and always wondered more about your background. I come from a very similar background (minus the army) and have excelled in what I do because I have a genuine interest in it. I'm a cloud architect by day and on a one-man mission to keep the local pubs in business by night. Thanks for all the advice and I hope you and the family every sucess for the future.
It's tough getting dialed in hard with a day and night job, people surrounding rarely understand, but would recommend it 100% for anyone that wants to progress fast. Consistency, discipline and will power can make massive strides fast.

Truly inspirational. My life has been going off track for many years now with similar substance abuse etc. I spent 18 months attempting to join the army because I thought it was give me the hard reset/ discipline I desired, however I was unable to join due to medical reasons. Hoping I'll able to get myself back on track some other way so I'll be able to fulfil my potential. The socialising and dead end 9-5 job is a vicious cycle that consumes so much of your time. But I'm hopeful for the future 🙏

Great video Caan. I had a sort of similar path. Bad choices and hanging round with wrong people I took the leap and joined the army. Done my training and and was hoping for a career, then an injury in Afghan and an MD changed that. Messed around by the army, no help and no resettlement and I was completely isolated. Ended up having more days leave then days in the army at the end. Im hardworking but don’t have the skills or talk to get anything more then zero hour contract. I’m bad with finances, I’m very profitable playing poker but blackjack is my downfall. Just hoping for the future and something to be proud of. Look forward to the future uploads 👍
Easily done earlier in life, Michael. The army is defo a good path for anyone that's a bit lost. Sorry to hear about the MD, that must be frustrating, I've had back problems and tend to think it's related to carrying heavy weight for hours at a time. All we can do is look forward and focus on the bright spots!

Caan, firstly thank you for your service to the country. Quite a inspirational story. I have only been trading for around six months starting with a £100 bank. Now sitting at around £9500. Aim is to build it up to 5 years expenses and then will consider full time. Not far off of 50 now !! Keep posting those videos.
The military doesn't serve the country. It serves the politicians and the Bankers. Go look up the USS Liberty attack or check out how the immigrants are allowed into Europe every day.

Hi Caan, I admire your honesty and courage doing the 26-week para P company course and PASSING. I have watched a lot of your trading advice. But I'm going for EVA as you have suggested many times and surprise, surprise. I feel the most comfortable with that attitude towards odds. I don't like horse racing anymore because for me, anyway, it's way too volatile. But the EVA is excellent advice from you mate.

I just stopped caring about the stigma attatched the former... people will always be the same, they don't get it. Financial traders are respected but very few realise how similar they are to sports traders so what's the point trying to explain? plus I've used plenty of +EV tactics for extra cash that aren't technically trading.

Honestly, the beginning of his story doesn’t sound so bad if you’ve ever flipped burgers, drink, alcohol and smoked it’s not the worst life. It’s definitely something that is an experience. It’s relaxing it’s definitely not overly hard it can be enjoyable.

I use a certain bookmakers won't name but today I faced a strange one . I went to withdraw my money . Usually money goes into my account right away but today was on hold and I received an email that I will receive my money but that a business decision was made to RESTRICT MY BANK DEITALS meaning I could no longer use my bank card and was told if I wanted to use the betting account I would have to use a different payment method. Question is why would they off done this also is this heard off happening before do you know chap?

I don't have deposit problems, becaue I only withdraw excluding big meetings. Bookies are a pain and its got a lot worse with checks and restrictions I sympathise 100%. All you can do is give others "tips" on their accounts ;) so long as they are willing to do the checking guff too at some point.

I use a certain bookmakers won't name but today I faced a strange one . I went to withdraw my money . Usually money goes into my account right away but today was on hold and I received an email that I will receive my money but that a business decision was made to RESTRICT MY BANK DEITALS meaning I could no longer use my bank card and was told if I wanted to use the betting account I would have to use a different payment method.
Question is why would they off done this also is this heard off happening before do you know chap?

I don't have deposit problems, becaue I only withdraw excluding big meetings. Bookies are a pain and its got a lot worse with checks and restrictions I sympathise 100%. All you can do is give others "tips" on their accounts ;) so long as they are willing to do the checking guff too at some point.
