All dogs are good guard dogs it's personal preference. My brother has a 18 pound jack Russell terror mix, only barks when it needs to. extremely alert with its surroundings.
I doubt many professional security dog trainers use pit bulls. They are definitely used for security for families and people but they lack alot of other things these other breeds have. They have the strongest bite force and can be smart and aggressive but they lack in most other areas
Ive had a few pitbulls myself two of them full grown were still way too small to be anything to worry about and my big boy was 120 lbs but was too massive short and bulky had zero stamina and was super slow it's hard to get one with a good in between and they always have health problems like bad hips etc
I had two rescue dog and one was a Pitt Bull mix Mastiff lived to be 17 years old the other dog Pitt Bull mix with Rhondaean Ridgeback she was a female and was the Alpha dog she ruled the house, Mastiff was a male and he did what ever she said , he lived to 18 years old
The Dobermann is a german breed, but since late 1940s the word Pinscher is no more used when Dobermann breeders left Deutscher Pinscher and Schnauzer Club.

I have a Pressa canario she follows everywhere I go,she was going to be used as a bait dog,took care of an idiot.
Nice but In my opinion Tosa inu should be first but is missing , maybe cause you can't have a Tosa every where.
