@@kellycosnowski8728 Personally I know passports are important to have if you are planning international travel but I don't think this was a smart decision(both on Emma and her parents allowing it) if she did go right as the hurricane was hitting.
@@SarahSchneider2 So true! My parents would worry about me going two miles down the street, much less a five hour drive. Just because the hurricane may not be headed that way, the winds can be felt for many miles away. I'm from Louisiana, so I know all too well.

Stay safe, I heard the hurricane hit today. Hope things are well all things considered. Emma is very brave to be driving hours away from home just before the storm hit. I hope she made it back ok and didn’t get stuck somewhere by herself because of the hurricane.

I hope you're safe ! . My thoughts remain with those in the path of The Hurricane. The rain bands caught me by surprise with the extensive bands away from the center even Miami , FL had a Severe Thunderstorm warning from a far outer rain band yesterday .
As a medical assistant at an ONGYN, more details the better! That’s how the providers can get a base on what’s going on.

It's crazy because two years ago at this time, we were preparing for Ida (cat 4), the second biggest hurricane in my lifetime, here in south Louisiana. I also went through Katrina, and countless others. Scary times! The end of August is always the time we dread!

I know the storm is past. However, even though she is driving south there will still be rain and wind bands. The cone is only for the center of the storm. I’m in Brevard and wasn’t in the cone but we had some nice gust and rain on and off Tuesday and Wednesday.

I had kidney stones and had to have surgery because one got stuck and I couldn’t pass it… Are you sure it isn’t kidney stones and you just can’t pass it? My pain was so unbearable to where I couldn’t even keep water down
