@@volvoman5262 Yeah I don't like Shrowser at all and I refuse to recongize him as the final boss. If anything, he is more of a "post boss" since the game's conflict ends with Elder Princess Shroob being defeated. Like I said, he was only there because Nintendo was probably like "Oh no! We don't have Bowser as a final boss! WE need to add him in somehow!" They tried to get by it by having Elder sorta kinda "Possess" him but it's not a boss fight. It's a minigame.

I think this is the Mario & Luigi that really needed a remake.. It's my favorite one of the whole series
Would've been cool if they took the concept of "in time" somewhat literally and featured areas themed after the first three SMB games on the NES.

My friend showed me this game on her DS when we were kids and it honestly felt like a fever dream to little 6 year old me who had never played video games before because of strict parents
When I was 8 or 9 my friend showed me a Kirby game on his DS at a late game boss and watching that felt like some kinda feverish nightmare given the general nature of the series.

If you fight all the enemies you cam easily defeat the final boss. Just disable the crown and kill her.
I also have problems beating elder princess shroob's true form and the fight that comes straight after. They are too hard for me.

The boss battle music is probably my 2nd favorite boss music EVER! My favorite is the boss music from Bowsers inside story. Just amazing!
One of the best DS games imo. Played this for hours when I was 7 and 8 years old.
Partners in time in a nutshell: baby cri
The result screen for Princess Shroob (0 EXP) was actually removed in the European and Japanese versions of the game though (it simply skips the the next scene), so only the US version has this screen (you still don't get EXP though unfortunately).
Plus after the credits, you get no music in the original US version (DID THEY FORGET TO ADD IT OR WHAT!!!), the Japanese, European and later US versions added a music box theme tune on the end screen.
In addition, the bosses have more HP in the US version (so Elder Princess Shroob is more harder and longer without cheats, she has I think 3000 HP), the HPs were reduced slightly in the JP and EU versions (I think Elder Princess Shroob now has 2500 HP, I'm not sure though).

I for one loved this game the bosses were fun and creative, the bros items were fun to use (plus they do a lot of damage), the music while not as memorable as the other games is still good, and the animation for the ds is amazing for 2005

Here's the most triggering thing in this game, for American exclusively. Just to make them suffer.
Bosses have WAY MORE HP than the European and Japan version. (Around twice as much)
Remember the final boss ? The total hp (the 2 phases) in Japan/european version is equal to the hp of the first phase of the american version. This is why Americans thinks the bosses are too long to beat.

Wondering how he will criticize Bowser's Inside Story now
I'm surprised you didn't mention Elder Princess Shroob. I swear she's way too tough to beat I hate it. The difficulty curve just rises insanely after Princess Shroob's fight.
Not only that, but if you lose to Elder Princess Shroob, you have to go through Princess Shroob's fight again. And if you decide to go back to get better items, you have to redo the annoying UFO minigame too.
I understand that this is the final boss, and Superstar Saga also had a difficulty curve that I struggled with for its final boss. But it still wasn't nearly as hard as Elder Princess Shroob.
I actually felt like I had a chance against Bowletta, even when I kept losing. Well not against Elder Princess Shroob, I don't know if I'll ever beat her. And I didn't skip battles most of the time, so I should be at a level high enough to beat her.

I think the only REAL thing that triggered me about Bowser’s Inside Story was that I didn’t grind the first time I played it by the time I made it to the second Bowser fight (in Dr. Toadley’s office), so I actually forced myself to start the whole game over from the beginning just to grind (only to do so again for another 10 levels just to be ready for the final fight with Dark Bowser). 😂
