Let’s talk about percentages. Clark is shooting 33% from 3, that should be higher no doubt. Reese is shooting 41% on 2pt shoots.
If Clark is 33 for 100 from 3, 33%, that’s 99 points. If Reese is 41 of 100 from 2, 41%, that’s 82 points. So a team would be better served by a 33% 3 point shooter than a 41% 2 point shooter.

CC was responsible for 60 pts (scoring and assists) of the team's total 84 points. That is insane. If the Fever had played defense the whole game they would have won handily. Even then, in the 4th Qtr CC almost single-handedly brought the team to a huge comeback victory. Add the rebounds, steals and blocks (from a point guard, mind you) and she was the best player on the court today, period. If she doesn't win ROTY something is seriously wrong.

In that Minnesota Lynx game where she broke the rookie record (the one where her mom was biting her nails) Reese got her 10th point with a free throw made with 23.2 left in a game they were losing 70-61. Credit to her for her streak, but the people who go after Clark for petty things should beware of other contexts.

Go watch the end of Sky vs Storm game - the last few seconds they gave Reese a rebound to give her 19 - she didn’t hit the rim and stepped out of bounce - they counted it as a rebound.

If you recover any missed shot attempt then it counts as a rebound. That includes airballs and recovering a shot after a block.

Add 5 steals and 3 blks and you find no one in the WNBA OR NBA has posted a stat line like that. Clark is a master of all phases on the game.
Speaking of sketchy stats, there is a video where Reese took 4 steps to get to the rim, was blocked, the ball never went near the rim, Reese then caught the ball out of bounds and she was rewarded a rebound. Go figure. There are videos of teams purposely not boxing Reese out. That's a hell of a game plan, do not put a body on the Skys leading rebounder. And we all seen the play-by-plays where there are 3 or 4 offensive rebounds for 1 layup.

Can you blame CC for what she did in the 4th qtr. She was cleaning up for Sides who got them in the hole and not making adjustments and rotations. And WtH was the last play? It served no purpose. Took the ball out of CC hands once again. CC took the team on her shoulders and said screw Sides.
CC’s one double double with a triple single is superb, and that it was the first time in the W and in the NBA is astounding. And if you thought that Sides showed her how to do that, crap, Sides restrained her for three quarters so should be sidelined. You brought up a sore point for those who've been following the Fever: Lexie Hull needs more minutes. Now that Celeste Taylor is gone, Lexie is the best defensive instigator on the team. For some reason, Coach Sides has been reluctant to let her play, and, when she does let her play, Lexie's yanked off the court.

After getting the First Triple Double by a Rookie in WNBA History in her last game, Caitlin Clark had a Monster game today, perhaps her Best overall game. She scored 29 Points, 13 Assists, 5 Rebounds, 5 Steals and 3 Blocks. Unfortunately it came in a loss ( Poor Coaching)
Caitlin has been playing great lately. She has a Double/Double in Points and Assists, which is a lot harder to do than Rebounds, in 4 Straight, 5 out of her last 6 games.

Actually they didn't if you watched the game, Atkins played 32 minutes, Dolson played nearly the whole second half (was in foul trouble a little in the 2nd so that cut her minutes, Walker Kimbrough was actually a starter and comes off the bench with good scoring, vanloo played all but 2 minutes in the fourth (started the 4th on the bench but when fever went on a 8-0 to start the 4th (2 minutes into the 4th) she came in for the last 8 minutes.
