Someone had to have looked at puck, and built a temple to line up with the sun just right. And someone had to make the sword with pucks shape. This implies that puck once had worshipers who admired her or her kind before being isolated in the maze.
I personally found this one more interesting than whatever an “accurate” Pac-Man story would be. It was actually the most engaging episode of the first 8 which were how many there were when I started watching. The others just feel like lesser versions of the series they are depicting. I don’t even know what they would do with a normal Pac-Man setting on a story basis that doesn’t feel like a kid show.
I personally like the idea of this episode but personally I’d prefer these episodes to be about the actual video game characters like maybe pac man going insane from the constant eating and running from ghosts in an endless maze idk
I Definitely appreciate the episode now i know its inspired by a different game haha. I was trying my best to understand how tf it connected with OG packman. Thanks for the explainer.
Honestly I didn't like it at first cuz it was so far from the source material of pac man like bomberman act zero, but now that we have the context of shadow labyrinth I do appreciate it a lot more
Meh. Its honestly not a great depiction of Pac-Man. It's too artsy-fartsy. It's a glorified trailer for The Shadow Labyrinth, and I can respect that more than trying to pretend its Pac-Man in anything but name and vocabulary.
Goddamnit it just hit me
Puck is the Puck. The Swordsman is the MAN
Together they make Pac-Man
🖊️🔥
@StarMechV actually puck is the original name for pac-man. However, namco changed it due to fear of vandals changing Puck to Fu.... you get the idea
Proves my point more. They basically took the name and split it into two characters
biblically accurate pac-man

The alien reminded me a lot of comic book gorr the god butcher
I’ve been meaning to watch this show and this video inspired me to watch It immediately

makes you wonder why Puck is stuck in that maze.
the fact this is based on an actual game is wild to me

I just wanted to see more Namco/arcade monsters and references

Why is it not a great depiction of pacman? It's a new take on the idea of what it is
Strongly disagree.
This was fantastic and you just don't like fun.
I actually agree
The episode felt like an advertisement
And I wished the ghost were focused on more than alien creatures
Yeah I agree too. I’m not against new takes but for me this kind of just feels like they went “Pac Man… but Bomberman Act Zero.”
you just boring
Everything Ive seen from this show has beem an enormous let down
That's just like, your opinion man.
What about the 40k episode tho?
Idk buddy, it's pretty decent. I enjoyed it.
Bad take imo
